Most Comfortable Tennis Shoes

No one wants their feet to hurt! There are so many aspects that factor into choosing shoes that are comfortable, from cushioning to fit. Our Tennis Warehouse playtesters wear test as many shoes as they can, and with their feedback we compile these lists. With their varied foot types, game styles and preferences, we picked these shoes as the best comfort tennis shoes of 2025. (Updated March 2025)

When considering comfortable tennis shoes, cushioning is just one factor. We think that how shoes fit your feet also play a role, so we've included our thoughts on whether the shoes run narrow, medium or wide to help guide you to the right comfort shoe for you.

Our Picks for the Most Comfortable Tennis Shoes

Shoe Fit Details
Mizuno Wave Enforce Tour 2 Medium (Our women's team found these to run a half size short.)
KSwiss Hypercourt Express 2 Medium (Wide models sometimes available)
adidas Stella Court Medium (Length is slightly long)
Asics Court FF 3 Medium to narrow
Nike GP Challenge 1 Medium

Mizuno Wave Enforce Tour 2

What we love: The first version of the Wave Enforce Tour was a hit with its impressive blend of a lightweight feel along with plenty of cushioning and stability. We're in the early stages of our testing of the Wave Enforce Tour 2s, but early indications are that the update picks up right where the first one left off in terms of comfort. The cushioning gets updated to the ENERZ NXT foam for a responsive feel, and the uppers feel light and pliable. Our women's playtest team found these shoes to run a bit short, and some of them opted to wear a half size larger than usual.

KSwiss Hypercourt Express 2

What we love: Released back in 2021, the Hypercourt Express 2 has gained a loyal following for its blend of comfort and lightweight feel. These shoes feel flexible without any break-in time and provide a cushioned ride on court. Although sometimes the wide versions are hard to find, Tennis Warehouse does carry those models as they become available in men's and women's sizing. Read the full review for the men's version and women's model.

adidas Stella Court

What we love: Available only in women's sizing, the adidas Stella Court is a playtester favorite not only for its comfort, but also its all-around performance. Our playtesters have loved these shoes since they debuted more than five years ago under a different name. Then called the adidas Stella Barricade Boost, the shoes won us over for their all-around performance and top-notch comfort for a variety of foot types. The model was discontinued for a bit, but now it's back and called the adidas Stella Court. And judging by our customer reviews, we're not the only ones elated to see these shoes back in the adidas lineup.

Asics Court FF 3

What we love: Designed for Novak Djokovic, the Asics Court FF 3s seem to be able to do it all. These shoes blend comfort, speed and stability. The FlyteFoam and GEL technologies in the midsole soften impacts to deliver comfort on the court. The shoes also hold up to aggressive movements. Some of our TW playtesters do find these shoes to run on the narrower side, and some of the women on the team would opt to wear the men's version for a more generous width fit. You can get all the details in our women's review and also read up on what the guys thought in the men's review.

Nike GP Challenge 1

What we love: Players seeking the most cushioned ride in the Nike line will love the GP Challenge 1 shoes. Durable outsoles complement the comfort and make this shoe an excellent choice for anyone who logs lots of court time. Our testers found confidence inspiring traction which allowed them to sprint around the court worry free. One thing to note is this shoe does fit a bit short.
