Overview
Updated with better feel, the V-Cell 1 continues to be an outstanding option for players who want luxurious comfort, easy power and raw speed. With its oversize 115 square inch head, this racquet will give you a large margin of error, ensuring that comfort and power remain high even when contact is less than perfect. Like the previous version, the V-Cell 1 packs an extended 27.8" length, making it great for players looking to hit a more powerful serve. It also comes with an extremely open 16x17 string pattern making it easier for you to control the ball's trajectory with spin.
The defining technology of the V-Cell 1 is Volkl's very unique Power Arm, which is a free moving throat piece that anchors the center main strings. The result is increased shock absorption along with higher power. For this update, Volkl packs the frame with extra V-Cell material (a cellulose based carbon) resulting in a more comfortable, stable and responsive hitting experience. This racquet also gets Volkl's innovative REVA based handle system which has been meticulously designed to deliver a smoother, more arm-friendly feel at impact
Players looking for a maneuverable oversize racquet with easy power and arm-friendly comfort should give the V-Cell 1 a serious look. Savvy doubles specialists looking to supercharge their serve and volley game will love this one!

Customer Reviews
Great doubles racquetI have had the V-Cell 1 for a week and really like it. Strung at 55 pounds and has plenty of power. 3.5 player five times a week. Great for seniors who want to improve their game.

A very welcome solution to tennis elbowAfter years with versions of the Wilson Ultra, I developed tennis elbow, after demoing seven "arm-friendly" racquets I did not find a solution. Then I tried my friend's Volkl V-Cell 1 and it immediately felt natural. It's an extension of my arm! I'm a 3.5 level doubles player and I was concerned about the excessive head-size, length and lightness but this racquet delivers! The club pro and others have remarked on my immediately improved play and it's pain-free!
Easy on the wrists/elbowsI've been playing with this racquet for about six months. Love it. Had been a longtime Wilson player previously. This racquet is easier on my wrists than my past racquets and gives me more power than I had as well. 3.5 player who hits four times per week.
No elbow pain, more powerI was exploring racquets and string for elbow issues. Was happy with my Yonex VCore 100, but was intrigued by the Volkl. Got two with Babolat VS gut at 48lbs. Hit great.Smooth, more power; about the same spin as the Yonex (w/NXT at 53). Gut broke on hour 3, so I restrung it at 48lbs with Babolat Xcel 17. Still good power and spin with no elbow issues. Very happy so far, but only 6 hours of hitting. Play at a 4.0 level.

Comments: I preordered this frame. I own the V-Sense 1 and the V-Feel 1. This one I think plays the best of the three. It is essentially the same, but with a bit more feel on touch shots. I am a 66 year old 4.0 doubles player. I find all 3 of my frames to be fantastic! They offer tons of controllable power and spin, are great on volleys, and they are also very easy on the arm. I think that the V-Cell 1 is the ultimate senior doubles racket!
