Overview
Volkl brings back the Power Bridge 10 Mid, a racquet with a classic combination of control, feel and plow-through. The cosmetic is slighly changed from the original cosmetic to a brighter, neon yellow. Compared to the light, stiff racquets of today, the Power Bridge 10 Mid offers a buttery flex at impact. The open string bed gives it plenty of bite for generating spin. Factor in this racquet's 12+ ounce weight, and you have the ingredients to hit a heavy ball. From the baseline this racquet's 93in² head delivers surgical control, and the ultra head light balance makes it maneuverable enough for whipping up spin or flicking winners on the run. At net the Power Bridge 10 Mid offers rock solid stability with exceptional feel and control. The soft flex provides a high level of feel on touch shots while the mass helps punch volleys with depth. On serve our testers found an easy swing to produce ample pace and spin. All in all this impressive racquet is best suited for the player who wants a surgical midsize frame without impressive maneuverability for the breed.

Comments: This frame is excellent. Strung it up with Klip 17 gauge gut in the mains and Big Hitter Blue polyester in the crosses at 54 pounds and 52 pounds respectively. The flex threw me off a bit at first, but I realized very quickly that if I am very deliberate with this frame, and follow through on my strokes and use good footwork, my shots get good length, amazing spin, and decent pace. The sweetspot is decent for a mid sized frame and the feel is just very comfortable, yet solid. I really like this frame and if my game holds up with it in match play I may switch to it. Very solid, yet head light. It comes around very quickly and the weight is no issue at all. Nice job Volkl.

Comments: Basically, this racquet is a slightly more flexible and forgiving version of the Wilson Pro Staff Original 6.0. Well done Volkl!

Comments: Played my best tennis ever with it a decade or so ago and then thought I can find better. I am back to using it again and can truly state that it is the best racquet I have ever played with. I've tried them all. I string it with gut and ALU Power at 52 and 50 pounds respectively, and also add half a gram at 10 and 2 o'clock.

Comments: The best racquet I've ever played with. A modern day Pro Staff 85, but easier on your arm. It could be the greatest racquet ever made. Such a buttery feel and just perfect for an attacking player. I'm so confident on every shot. I'm surprised Federer doesn't use it and I'm sure Sampras would love it. Thank you Volkl.

Comments: Wilson, Yonex, or Babolat can look to production quality of these frames. By far the best racquet of last 10 years. Only my C10 Pro Tour 93 inch is better, a bit stiffer.

Comments: I sold all four frames and now I missed them. I am in Europe and it's not possible to buy them here anymore. This racquet is great for feel and fun with it. It is the only mid I ever played that can be strung with a full poly setup. I even switched to leather grip, and no harsh feel. I suggest to string it with a hybrid with natural gut in the mains at 51 pounds and a polyester at 46 pounds in the crosses. Now I play with Pacific Vacuum 90 Mid and it's amazing. But it must be strung with full gut and if I play with a spin monster player I need to punch first as the margin for error is very low. It was much better with the Volkl Power Bridge 10 Mid. Any other Volkl mid after Power Bridge version is not good in my opinion.

Comments: What a great frame. I'm a 4.0 serve and volley player that plays mostly doubles. I've tried so many frames on the way to this one. I loved the Prince 93P but it was too demanding on groundstrokes. This frame allows me to play aggressively and still stay in a point if I get behind. It does everything as good or better than the 93P, except big flat first serves. I've purchased three and plan to get more. I have it strung with Big Hitter Silver 7 Tour 17 at 48 pounds.

Comments: What a sweet frame. Excellent from all areas of the court, comfortable, arm-friendly, plenty of pop and spin. Great control as well. Volkl should go back to making frames like these in my opinion.

Comments: Best in class! Despite the 93 sq. inch head size sweet spot is big and feels//plays like a 98 sq. inch racquet. Solid, forgiving and fun to play with. Does it all well especially serves volleys and one handed BH.

Comments: Coming from using the Wilson Ultra Tour, this racket surpasses it in every category. I loved the Ultra Tour's feel, control and overall playability. Though it needed modification, I thought it was the best feeling racket on the market. The Power Bridge 10 has just as nice feel, but is much more potent on all shots without the modifications. I love volleying with it, just as much as hitting ground strokes from the baseline. My serves have a lot of kick, and the pace is there if needed. Overall, this is the most fun stick I have played with in a long time.

Comments: This is simply an amazing racquet. Great for volleys. Great for spin. Great for control. Great plow through. It's a shame more people don't know this racquet. Easily better than many "famous" racquets with big-name players' names attached.

Comments: The Volkl PB10 is simply one of the best racquets I have played with in over 30 years of playing tennis. I've tried almost a dozen different racquets over the past five years, trying to transition away from my Becker 11 SEs. Nothing comes close in this racquet's elegant mix of headlight balance, maneuverability, comfort, control, and access to power. But you must have complete strokes--it will not compensate for deficient mechanics. If you take a full cut at the ball and value a forgiving feel at contact, this is the stick for you. Babolat enthusiasts will probably not like this racquet, which is a tank compared to all the Babolat frames I've tried. TW and Volkl, I'm beyond thrilled that you brought this frame back. I now own four.

Comments: This is the one you want. I bought a PB 10 Mid from TW years ago on a whim because it was on sale for $89. It turned out to be my favorite frame. Played it so much I ate through the grommets and basically retired it because I couldn't find grommet replacements anywhere and I didn't want to permanently damage the frame. I bounced from the Organix 10 (which was not really an "upgrade" to the PB 10 Mid, but a completely different frame) to the Yonex EZONE 98 (for more power), but when I saw TW got this back in stock I had to get it. Glad I did. I find that just about all upside to this racquet. You won't find a more comfortable racket to hit with. The flex is very noticeable, and you'll want to spend a little time getting used to it if you're coming from a stiffer frame. It's maneuverable as all get out since it's so head light, so the weight isn't a problem. A well struck ball in the sweet spot will give you among the more pure responses you'll find in any frame. Two negatives -- first, the frame is not very forgiving. Going back to this from my Yonex (most forgiving frames, in my opinion), was a bit of an adjustment, but well worth it to me. Second, the flex can make a "put away" shot a little challenging. For those of you wondering if the manufacturing is the same as the older model, it is with the exception of the new cosmetic. All said, this is my favorite racquet by a large margin. Do yourself a favor and pick up two (and maybe some extra grommets).

Comments: A few years ago I got my hands one one of these, and it just wasn't right - it felt too flexible and I basically didn't like it. But, I've also always felt like I was a bit hasty in making my decision, and so when it got re-issued, I hopped on it and ordered one up. So far, I have been blown away by how much I like it. I put on an Oehms leather grip, added a couple grams at 10 and 2, which brought the strung weight up to about 355g, and the balance is at 31.5cm. I alsoI have it strung up with a full bed of poly (cyclone 17 at 45lbs). With this setup, it is PLUSH. Easy on the arm, but also has tons of spin and pretty good pop too, and it doesn't seem sluggish at all. Loving the biting slice and it volleys like a dream. So, I think it's pretty much perfect for my game right now. For the first time ever I'm hitting some ungettable slice serves in the deuce court, which I've never really been able to do, and the extra spin is helping me feel like I can swing out more and not miss - to good effect! For comparison, I've been playing with an Angell TC90, and that's a great racquet too - it's stiffer and more powerful, but a bit less spin, I've found, and also not nearly as comfy. Anyway, I have a second one on the way, and couldn't be happier.

Comments: This is the best racquet you can buy these days. Don't get confused by the smaller head size. The sweet spot is really big even to hit against Babolat (spinners) users. Comfort is great and the racquet can handle a full poly string. Mine is strung with Cyclone 1.25 at 53/46 lbs.
