Overview
Updated with a new cosmetic along with a more stable weight, the Ki Q+ 5 Pro is ideal for intermediate and advanced players. Like the previous generation, the Ki Q+ 5 Pro combines great feel with a high degree of accuracy on full swings. Compared to the Ki Q+5, this racquet swings heavier and feels more stable at impact. The signature feature is Kinetic Quadfocus Technology which uses movable mass in the racquet's head to give you greater stability, power and arm-protection. With its Comfort Cap technology, ProKennex extends its Kinetic system to the butt cap, resulting in even greater comfort. This racquet also features a firm SpiralTech Carbon layup, which removes impurities and air pockets from the graphite layers in order to provide extra strength and dampening. From the baseline Ki Q+ 5 Pro does not get pushed around when the pace goes up. In addition to delivering impressive accuracy on full swings, this stick will give you enough power and spin to keep your opponent on defense. At net, this racquet has the needed mass for redirecting heavy pace. It also shines on serve where huge power is awarded to those who can leverage the dynamic mass. Ultimately, the 2021 Ki Q+5 Pro is a great option for experienced players looking to hit a heavy ball.

Customer Reviews
Excellent arm-friendly racquet4.0 men's player with 30+ years of tennis experience and the injuries to prove it. This is simply an excellent racquet. Very stable, good plow through and the right amount of feel/touch. I have had significant arm and shoulder issues, which have markedly improved since switching to this. This is my first PK. Prior racquets I've played with have included: Prince CTS DB 26 (90s), Pro Staff 6.1 hypercarbon (2000s), Prince O3 Speedport Tour (2010s), Yonex VCore Pro 97H (2020s), and Babolat Pure Drive Tour (2020s).
No surprise, arm issues spiked after the Pure Drive Tour. The PK Ki Q5+ Pro plays a lot closer to a players racquet than a tweener. The best comparison would be a more mobile and comfortable VCore Pro or Pro Staff. It does not have the same whippy swing path or upward launch angle of the Pure Drive. I'm particularly happy with serves, volleys and slice having switched to this.
Kennex Ki Q plus 5Great on the elbow/arm. Forgiving. Head light helps on volleys. Overall very light feeling but plenty of power for 4.0 player.
Best for anyone susceptible to tennis elbowThis successor to the Kinetic 5G is a great racquet that does not contribute to elbow issues. Do your research on the dampening effect of the technology of this racquet. You'll be pleased.
Love it!I had my old mid-90s Kinetic 5G and never had tennis elbow. I finally replaced it with another brand and had elbow pain within two weeks. I ordered a demo of the Pro-Kennex 5G and did not experience pain, so I bought two and couldn't be happier.

Comments: This is my go to racquet. I have tried so many different racquets, but nothing gives me the stability, control, feel, power and comfort I get from this stick. Best string combo is natural gut on the mains and Luxilon Rough on the crosses. I string at 52lbs, a bit low, but that gives me the depth I seek in my shots. With this stick, I can put the ball anywhere in the court. Heavy balls, I can rip returns on the rise, with a ton of spin and its super arm friendly. I've suffered from tennis elbow for 4 years and this is the only stick in my bag now. All my years of search have brought me here and I'm happy with this racquet.

Comments: Very happy with this racquet. My wrist is getting better. I can play more than two hours without symptoms of fatigue or discomfort. This technology works very well for me. Good control. Excellent access to spin. Excellent power. I love it.

Comments: Truly a nice frame, and has great balance of power, control and spin. Terrific on serves and returns — just does everything well. Well done, ProKennex.

Comments: I demoed this twice. It was solid and comfortably crisp. It has great control with accessible spin with the right strings. I used the Ki 5 (320) for years and this is a great replacement. While I wanted to go down to the 300g version, that was just too head light, even with a lot of lead. I also prefer the slightly more crisp feel of the 315g.

Comments: ProKennex continues to make the best arm-friendly racquets. This Ki Q+ Pro is a nice all-court racquet that has excellent control and feel with some power.
From: Doug M., Coto de Caza, CA 9/18/21
Comments: Very nice and comfortable on the arm. Control is the word here, but you can get power if you swing it correctly. And you get used to the dampened feel. I never used string dampeners. ProKennex technology does that for you. All in all a stable racquet with no flaws.
