Overview

ProKennex updates the Ki Q+ 15 with a beautiful blue cosmetic, but keeps the easy power and phenomenal comfort of the previous generation. At roughly 10.6 ounces strung, this stick is ideal for intermediate players who want power, stability, comfort and easy access to spin. With its 105 square inch head, this stick manages to feel forgiving without compromising control. Featuring  Kinetic Quadfocus Technology, the Q+ 15 uses movable mass in the racquet's head to give you greater protection against vibration, shock and racquet torque. Additional comfort technologies include a Comfort Cap, which adds the Kinetic system to the butt cap. As with other models from the Q+ family, this racquet's layup benefits from a SpiralTech Carbon, which removes impurities and air pockets from the graphite layers in order to provide extra strength and dampening. On groundstrokes depth comes very easy, and there is more than enough power to keep your opponent in check. You'll also find enough spin to bring the ball down hard. At net the Ki Q+15 moves into position quickly and provides a forgiving and stable hitting experience. This racquet also shines on serve where the extended length translates into big power. All in all, this is a great option for the player who wants a forgiving racquet with easy access to power and spin.

good for tennis elbowI've had these racquets for years, and they work for me. I'm prone to tennis elbow, and as long as I've had these, I'm pain free.

Great Racquet For Players with Tennis ElbowCurrently rehabbing from a bout of tennis elbow and this racquet's balance and shock absorption have been helpful. I plan to continue to play with it after I have recovered to help prevent re-injury.

Why don't more people talk about this frame? This racquet has unique specs and fills a valuable niche, so I'm surprised I don't see it on court more. It's the only 27.5 racquet I know of that is stiff, has a nice thick beam, but isn't one of those sub-9 ounce beginner/senior frames or on the other end is an anvil with a 330+ swing weight. For me the 10.6 strung weight and slight head light balance leaves the perfect space for a little tape at 3 and 9 and an overgrip to get the weight up to around 11 oz. It feels plush without being mushy, stable as a rock, and the kinetic technology offsets the very high stiffness. I'm moving into more 4.5 tennis after a long time at 4.0 and years using a Hyper Hammer 5.3. Mostly a baseline grinder/counterpuncher but with flat old school strokes. Only TW and one or two other places stock these racquets, so I hope they keep them around or carry the updated version that I assume is coming (this is a 2021 version). Please get more in the 4 1/2 grip size!

Quality constuctionProKennex's team really put a lot of thought into making a great racquet at a good price. I play at a low-intermediate level, so for some women it may be a little heavy, but I prefer that for power and control. Getting back into tennis only a year ago after a 16 year hiatus. I think I can stop looking for the right racquet now!

Great Racquet for Seniors and Doubles PlayersThis is a very powerful and spin friendly racquet. Slice and topspin are really impressive. Volleys well as it is forgiving and quick at the net. Flat and spin serves are easily dialed in. A big hitter might find this racquet hard to control on groundstrokes due to its power. I have good control with it as I am a senior and don't swing as hard as I used to. Comfort is outstanding. Recommend this to seniors, doubles players, beginners, and intermediates who aren't big hitters.
