Excellent racquet at a great price!I took a chance and bought this racquet from Toronto, Canada, as it would be impossible for me to demo it first. It came in very good condition and the frame itself is a true player's racquet. The service from Tennis Warehouse was excellent as I inquired about the sound that the racquet makes and they were able to reassure me that that's part of design of the product. Thanks!
Made for comfortMy wife has carpal tunnel. She's been using this racquet for years without any issues. She still decided to buy this same make and model even though she tried the latest and greatest. I'm glad they still make this racquet.

My favoriteMy fifth racquet on my journey. Hopefully the last. Very good. Thank you.

Retro look, modern playEver since I developed arm issues a few years back and got a Q 30, I am a total convert to ProKennex Kinetic line. I have since worked my way down from the truly oversized 30 to the 15, and then the 5. I love their playability, suited to my 74 year old game. Then I read about the 7G still being available and loved the color scheme (AND the price). It seems to play a lot like the 5. Great maneuverability and pinpoint accuracy.

PK 7GMy fourth piece came. Thanks to TW helping out with the defective piece from earlier. What an awesome stick. Hits like a monster. Pretty close to having your cake and eat it stick. Does everything well! No joint pain and all the power. Awesome DEADPOOL cosmetics for MAXIMUM EFFORT!!!

ProKennex Kinetic Pro 7G RacquetI bought three of these legends. Absolutely awesome. Does everything well and a refreshing change from the lighter and muted racquets in the market today. Excellent feel and ball pocketing and absolutely crushes the ball. I am having so much fun with these and they motivate me to strengthen at the gym. My only trouble was with quality issues. Hologram stickers all fell out early. One of my three pieces cracked at the throat during only the second session after a first serve. No abuse or scratch in the frame whatsoever.

TW rocks!I've been a loyal customer for at least a decade, and the service and the great products and great pricing make total sense. My new pk7 is so well strung, that my partners are complaining that I have way too much control and power!

A modern player-racketFantastic racquet with no real weaknesses. The comfort provided by its 7g of Kinetic mass is just amazing and that comes with increased power and stability.
It is plush, but crisp at the same, providing a unique feel that combines a modern crisp and lively frame with the an old school plush player-racket sensation.
7G does not appear on the PK on-line catalogue anymore. Kudos to TW that is still able to source such a fantastic stick and manage to ship it worldwide very rapidly. Great work!
Great balance between power and controlThis racquet is great for its balance of power and control, groundstrokes vs. volleys. I have shoulder impingement and reduced my shoulder pain and discomfort.
Previous Feedback
Comments: This is still the best racquet from ProKennex. I've tried the newest models and didn't care for any of them. The Kinetic Pro 7G gives me the feel and comfort that I need. Thankfully the people at ProKennex cares about their customers by keeping racquets in circulation that people love. This racquet has been battle tested for years and is still the best.

Comments: First ProKennex. It sounds like it has sand in it, but that's the way it's supposed to sound. Nice racquet, great power and stability. Good plow through. Good on volleys and serves with the extra half inch length. It took a little getting used to, but so does any new racquet.

Comments: Looking for an arm friendly racquet. Demoed for its weight, length, and dampening. Verdict? Swings light for its weight. Length did not feel awkward - almost did not notice. Feel is retro, aka flexy. Hitting was consistent, especially if you slow down your swing. Negatives: so much vibration. Added mass did not stabilize racquet - feels light. Off center shots make the entire racquet vibrate, along with your arm. Not so good for arm friendliness, disappointed.

Comments: This racquet is solid yet still has great feel. It's great on your arm if you have tennis elbow problems. It's a great player's racquet, plenty of power for me with its greater mass, yet very maneuverable. I've tried all the 18/20, thin-beam, player's racquets, and I like this one best because of the feedback it gives, solid feeling, and decent power. I don't see a lot of PK racquets on the courts, but people who do play with them love them and won't give them up. I wanted to like PK Ki 5x+ because it had a newer look, a cooler paint job, and was supposed to be the upgrade for the 7G. But the 7G is just crisper and sharper, feels more responsive for me, not "muted" like the Ki 5x+. The Ki 5x was good, the 7G is better. The Ki 5x is now discontinued, but I'm very glad the 7G is still around. I string mine with Volkl Power Fiber II 18 gauge at 58 lbs. I'm a 4.0 who hits a bit more flat, hits a heavy ball, with more traditional strokes. I hope this helps.

Comments: I just wanted to make some additional comments that the 7G really has the old school feel with some really nice flex, feel, obviously extremely comfortable along with excellent control and stability. The power level is decent when strung towards the lower end of the tension range. The 7G reminds me of the Volkl C10 Pro as it also had that buttery feel along with the plow through. That is reason why PK still makes the 7G today!! It's certainly a classic that will never age!!

Comments: I originally purchased the 5G but 2 of the frames came below spec weight and I had to add lead tape to the hoop and the butt of the handle to get my desired weight and balance. I did enjoy playing with the 5G but found it a little underpowered even with the added weight. I then decided to purchase a 7G and found even more power on all strokes, with less effort. In addition, no additional weight was needed. I just changed the stock grip to a Wilson Contour grip. The 7G weighs 337 grams with the grip change as well as a dampener. The racquet has nice heft but the swingweight was still manageable. The 7G has a little less control than the 5G, however I like the additional power I'm getting. The 7G is quite arm friendly and highly recommended for any player 4.0 and above who has any elbow or shoulder problems. In my case, the 7G is an arm saver due to some shoulder issues from all the years of playing. In my almost 30 years of playing, the 7G is certainly a classic. I don't like modern racquets and ProKennex deserves a lot more recognition! I am really happy that Pro Kennex still makes racquets that are the most arm friendly on the market. There's a very good chance that I will switch over to the 7G but will still keep my 5G frames. I am a 4.5 baseline player.

Comments: This racquet is very stable and arm friendly, only problem is durability. It starts vibrating after a month of use. Bought 3 Pro 7g racquets with the same result, have switch to Yonex.

Comments: I recently replaced my APD+ with the 7G, really happy with the playability and especially the comfort of this racquet. Highly recommended if you have any shoulder issues.
From:Mark, 7/20/17
Comments: I love this racquet. The control it has is amazing -- great pace, easy to volley with, and lots on the serve. I went 15 minutes without missing a groundstroke. So it is very consistent. Not to mention, ridiculously arm friendly. I've demo'd many racquets lately -- the Yonex DR 98, 2015 Blade 18x20, TT 95 Tour, Pure Drive Tour, Pure Control Tour. This thing blows them all away. Highly recommend you give it a demo.

Comments: The Pro 7G is a fantastic racquet. Took the KI 5 315, the KI 5x (updated version) and the Pro 5G all out for a spin in search of an elbow friendly frame due to TE, and the Pro 7G beat them all out for comfort, control, and overall playability. Initially thought the Ki 5x being the updated version would be a better frame, but no, it felt sluggish and slightly less maneuverable over the Pro 7G. If you have elbow or shoulder pains, are getting a little "older" in the joint department, but still want a solid frame that will allow to still "feel" the ball like some of the older 90's frames, don't overlook this great frame. I hope Pro Kennex continues to offer this fantastic frame for years to come.

Comments: This is the best combination of power and control that I've come across so far and I have tried many racquets. I love the feel and comfort too.

Comments: I am 17 and play varsity and Junior USTA with this racquet injury free for a second year. I hit 110 mph serves and heavy groundstrokes. Excellent power and good control without sacrificing my health. I string them with poly in the low 50 lbs. Unfortunately, I am facing a tough task finding replacement for PK7g. Two racquets broke at the connection of the lower bridge to the hoop. TW nicely honored the warranty, but the last one broke above the handle and it is out of the warranty period. Either these racquets are not made for competitive tennis or ProKennex has dropped their quality significantly for the last few years.
From:Yani, 4/13
Comments: The racquet broke just above the handle on a misshit. I've not seen this on any other racquet. But other than that it has been fine.
From:Ionut, 4/13
Comments: Excellent racquet! Great control and good power. I've been using this racquet for singles and doubles (4.0 level) for over half a year. I switched to this racquet after experiencing wrist problems with another racquet (Babolat Aero Pro Drive +). After some rest and the switch, my wrist feels like new (some credit might also go to the new strings - Gamma Live Wire XP at 60 lbs). I highly recommend this racquet even if you don't have arm/wrist problems, but if you do, this racquet may be the cure you're looking for!

Comments: Demo'ed it tonight and hit for an hour or so and really liked it. It feelsmore comfortable than the 66 flex rating. Better than the BLX Tour for everythingexcept return of serve.

Comments: Demoing this as part of my latest shipment of racquets from TWand am pretty disappointed. I tried the newer Ionic Ki 5x in my lastbatch and liked it a lot but saw so much feedback saying that this wasthe superior stick that I decided I had to try it and if it were trueI'd have a keeper with a better paint job and a lower price. Unfortunately this stick feels way, way, way lighter swinging than theKi 5x did to me. It's not a bad racquet if you like something thatswings light and it was still extremely comfortable but it just didn'thave that lovely plow-through I found with the newer model. I've heardsome pretty horrible things about PK's quality control, so maybe thisparticular stick is on the light side but I'm not a huge fan of havingto lead up a frame to enjoy it so I'll not be purchasing any of these.

Comments: Comments: Pro Kennex, please don't ever stop making this classic frame. So, so good fromeverywhere on the court, but especially for baseline bashing. One of the only extended frameswhere you rarely feel the extra length, as it swings easily but stays so solid through thecontact zone to hit consistently deep, heavy shots that remain so controlled. Amazing 16x20pattern gives a blend of spin and control. The fact that this thing is an arm saver is simply thecherry on top of all the other good stuff. This thing is, was and will always be a beast.

Comments: It was an epiphany. If you want to hit like Federer, don'tbuy Federer's racquet. You don't have his strokes, you don't have hisbody. We're all very prideful and don't want to buy so-called"intermediate-level" racquets. We want what the players use, becausethat's what we aspire to be. But we'll never be Federer. This racquethas three tremendous advantages -- it's extremely comfortable and easyon the arm (I don't care who you are or how strong you are -- that isexceedingly important, as this is a wear and tear sport that hasbeaten down even the greatest of athletes), it gives your shots a niceextra pop, and it has an extra 1/2 inch of length which I suspect mostpeople probably wouldn't notice but certainly would benefit from (ithas noticeably helped my backhand). We can't be Federer, but we can atleast get a little secret boost wherever possible and put lifts in ourshoes and stand on our toes and try to get closer to him. Strung it upwith cheap, ordinary Wilson syn gut at 53 lbs, and it's an absolutepleasure to play with, and I assure you, when you're destroying peopleon your local courts who are swinging Djokovic's low powered racquetwith every ounce of their strength, no one will suspect you're usingan "intermediate-level" racquet. Your 75 mph winners that feel likebutter off your racquet will look plenty advanced compared to their 50mph spinners.

Comments: I'm 59 years old and a 4.0 player. Over the last 6 months I've been playingwith a Liquidmetal 4 Mid Plus. Have loved the racquet and it really helped improve mygame but over that time period my arm has developed increasing pain following playand lasting several days. Saw a physical therapist a few days ago and decided to lookback into the ProKennex line of racquets. 12 years ago I had purchase a 5G andenjoyed playing with it but it seemed to lack power and I moved on to some otherracquets with a bit more power but never finding one that was arm friendly for me. Afterreading the customer feedback and review for the 7G I decided to give it a try, as itseemed to address the two areas of concern for me: arm friendly (which I knew it wouldhave) and solid play with a bit more power than the 5G. I had it overnighted, strung withGosen OG Micro 17 at 62 lbs. so I could use it today. After 1 1/2 hours of doubles playmy arm is literally pain free with full range of motion! The racquet was awesome in allaspects of my game! A little less forgiving than the Liquidmetal (I'll have to move my feetmore ;-)) but the arm and shoulder therapy is irreplaceable. I think I'm ProKennex forlife!

Comments: Just tried the 7g and 5g for the first time and I became a believer of ProKennex. Both racquets are surprisingly easy to maneuver for their static weight, justlike a 11oz stick but with more stability. Only problem is I cannot decide which one Ilike more, the 5g has a bit more solid feel and you can hit out with no fear, but the 7ggives you an edge, it allows you to do r
