With its 16x19 string pattern and thicker 22m beam, this Prestige adds a dash of modern spin to the original formula

With its 16x19 string pattern and thicker 22mm beam, the Prestige Tour has long been the most modern racquet in the Prestige family. That said, with its compact 95 square-inch head and newly softened beam (from 65 to 62 RA), it still packs the kind of surgical control and buttery feedback that Prestige purists crave. Thanks to its 330 swingweight, the Prestige Tour not only does a great job redirecting the pace of a big-hitting opponent, but it also provides the needed mass to get the ball moving through the court. For 2023, Head adds Auxetic 2 to the yoke and handle to optimize the response. The Prestige Tour also benefits from Graphene 360+ (labeled Graphene Inside), which strengthens the frame in key locations to increase power and stability. Ultimately, the Prestige Tour is an outstanding option for experienced players who want to combine classic Prestige feel with spin-friendly targeting.

Awesome racquetI love the level of control you get using this racquet. The weight is very maneuverable and while it does require some time to get used to the racquet, it does not disappoint in performance.

My son loves this racquet! My son had the Head Radical MP and his coach had a Prestige Tour and let him use it during a practice. Subsequently, he "needed" this for Christmas. He loves the feel and the power he can generate with this racquet without sacrificing precision. He is giddy about the feel and is already seeing some improvements in his game.

A very good racquetGood racquet, it has good power, control, and spin. It has some similarity with the Head Youtek Prestige Pro which I’m still using as backup but this has a bigger sweetspot compared to Youtek. Highly recommended!

I love this racquet!I have always been a huge fan of the Prestige 95 racquets. They are probably my favorite racquets after the classic box-frame Pro Staffs or Six.one 95 series. You get a nice balance of spin, precision, and power (for those who are able to take advantage of it).

Lighter control stickOverall score: 4.6. Serves: 5.0 (solid) Volleys: 4.8 mGround strokes: 4.6 Spin: 4.2 My profile: 38, fit, 4.5 NTRP, lefty all court player, two handed backhand. Summary: soft-playing control stick (up there with the best in terms of control), with reasonable static and swingweight, absolute treat to serve, but may need extra weight to retain depth against heavy hitters. Quite average spin potential which can be enhanced by shaped polys. Full Review and Background: I play since I was 10 (which means for 28 years) and transitioned from a competitive player at school to a solid amateur (study and work got in a way of regular tournament play). I played with Fischer Pro Tour No.1 transitioning to Wilson Six.One Tour 90 then to Wilson PS RF97A. I’ve tried a number of racquets to replace the Tour 90 as at some point it became too unforgiving for me, given the long breaks I had in my game moving jobs and continents. I settled with RF97A v11 initially because of similar weight and balance (and Federer let’s be honest here), but the transition was very difficult, since RF97 is much harder to maneuver and is more powerful than Tour 90. That said, Head Prestige Tour 2021 and 2023 became first racquets after which I started seriously considering switching out of the RF97A. I had tried a plethora of racquets, including Head Speed Pro (18x20), Head Youtek Speed Pro (Euro version, 335g unstrung, 98sq in), Blade 98 Pro (v6, v7), Babolat Pure Strike and Pure Aero Rafa, Head Prestige Mid (93 sq in), Head Radical Pro. Neither of those felt right or suited my game without major adjustments. Head Prestige Tours in turn offered almost seamless transition from RF97A both on volleys, as well as groundstrokes forehand and backhand sides. On the positive side I noted an obvious improvement in maneuverability, some extra pop on flat serves (Prestige Tour is an absolute treat on serves), solid but buttery feel even off-center (guess, auxetic) and no drop in control relative to RF97A. Head geometry of Prestige Tour is great, easy to swing through air and its 95sq in never feel too small. On the downsides, I would note a bit of more challenge keeping depth with hard hitting opponents (static weight matters) and very slight drop in power (might be strings, since I had Prestiges full bed poly while I play my RF97A with hybrids) and spin. Also on a downside; the 315g unstrung weight leaves a limited space for customization. I tried beefing up one of my Prestige Tours to 327g unstrung, adding 5g in total at 2 and 10 and 7g at the handle, which helped with heavy hitters, but I noted adding anything above that would hurt my serving. I also tried some shaped poly to offset for a drop in spin, but it takes a bit of power from flat strokes. On the positive, I was surprised how comfortable the racquet still is in that set up. Overall, Prestige in my view is an underrated racquet. It is modern enough to be swung with speed while giving soft controlled response and great precision. I would say it works best for crafty players who like to mix their shots as opposed to guys who prefer to rely mostly on a powerful run-around topspin forehands

Give it a try!I love this racquet! I’ve read the comments that say this doesn’t feel like a true Prestige. I’ve played with a couple of prior models and maybe it’s a little different but that’s what makes it exactly what I was looking for. I went from a Blade 98 V8 (16x19) v8 to a Pro Staff 97 v14. I wanted a heavier racquet with more plow through. The Pro Staff was nice with regards to that and the additional stiffness helped with slicing my backhand and with lobs for some reason but my forehand lost some pop due to lack of whip. I kept thinking if I could just hit forehands with my Blade and backhands and lobs with the Pro Staff it would be a perfect combo. Then my pro introduced me to the Prestige Tour and it was everything I was looking for! Good weight to absorb power, good swing weight for plow through, great stiffness (not too whippy, not too stiff) and the mobility of a 95 square inch head size. The sweet spot feels bigger than a 95. Great cosmetics too. Give it a try!

Amazing RacquetIf you are a player who loves classic control with a modern twist PLEASE try this racquet. The 95 square inch head might feel small but it didn't feel like a 95 and all my previous racquets were 100 square inches. 16x19 pattern gives tons of power and spin with that classic 22mm beam all around provides stable control and feel. Stability of this racquet made backhands feel like rockets that stay on the court. Overall amazing racquet and if I could rate it higher I would. 10/10!!!

Speed and powerI have played with the Prestige MP (18x20) since the Intelligence series up to the Graphene 360 +. I'm a 51 year old guy, so I decided to try this model looking for more arm speed and deeper shots, and I definitely find it. This racquet is way faster, more maneuverable, and provides more power and spin without sacrificing too much control compared to the Prestige Pro. The feeling on the Prestige Tour is quite similar to the Pro line, but with a bigger sweet spot. I'm using Babolat RPM with 47 pounds.

Not prestigious.Too thick and too stiff for control. More like a Speed model. Shame they can't make a good Prestige since the "i Prestige" or earlier models. Still using a 1994 Prestige that hits like paradise.

Head Prestige Tour 2023Head Prestige Tour 2023. I love this racquet, it has so much power and so much control. Best tennis racquet in a 95" head size.

Solid, but not for meI am a 4.5 senior tournament player. After watching several reviews of the Head Prestige Tour 2023, I took a chance and purchased the racquet. I was looking for a 315 gram, thin beam, and flexible players racquet. It’s a very solid racquet and plays larger than its 95" head size. Unfortunately, the racquet is a bit too stiff for me (even with VS gut 17g @ 48lbs) and causing arm issues. This racquet is probably better suited for younger players.
