Head celebrates one of the game's most legendary racquets with a sleek black cosmetic
Introducing the Head Speed Pro Legend! Endorsed by Novak Djokovic, this special cosmetic version offers the same specs and playability as the standard version. Defined by a traditional 18x20 string pattern, this stick delivers a low and laser-like trajectory, making it great for players who like driving the ball through the court. Other features include a 330+ swingweight, giving it enough stability to redirect heavy pace while also offering plenty of pop to those who can leverage its mass. For 2024, in addition to giving this racquet a slightly softer feel and moving the target unstrung balance from 9 to 10HL, Head adds Auxetic 2 to the layup, a uniquely flexible material in the yolk and handle to optimize the racquet's feel and response. The Speed Pro also benefits from Graphene 360+ (labeled Graphene inside), which strengthens the frame in key locations to provide a more powerful and stable hitting experience. Ultimately, the Speed Pro Legend is an obvious choice for experienced players who want surgical targeting and great feel. The beautiful black cosmetic is a nice bonus.

Very solidSolid! Precise! But very different from Speed MP ... more powerful.

Nice RacquetNice control and feel. The swing weight is a little bit large so it's easy to generate power from fast swinging.

GOAT racquet for the GOATI recently got the racquet, and it’s perfect for players who want control and accuracy. The racquet feels solid and stable. Works well for players who move around the court a lot and like long rallies. If you’re an advanced player or someone who loves control, this racquet is a great fit. However, if you're newer to the game, the heavier weight and tighter strings might make it a little harder to get the power you want.

Excellent racquetI have both the Pro and the Pro Legend strung with natural gut at 54 and 52 pounds. I really like the racquet. Enough weight for plow through and well balanced allowing me to add a little weight to the top whenever I feel so inclined. Given the 18 x 20 string bed, it offers very good ball control. An excellent competitive racquet for a senior such as myself.

Dare I say, a perfect racquet?Combines the comfort of the last version (Auxetic 1.0) with the plow through and stability of two generations ago (360+). Ideal for 4.0 and above. Like most 18x20 racquets, you have the freedom of swinging our without fear of overhitting, but also the forgiveness and power of a 100 square inch racquet. Also great comfort without sacrificing feel. I think probably anyone 4.0 or above could play with this using their preferred string setup and customization (if needed—it’s already quite stable with good plow through). A must demo for 4.0 and above!

Same as 2023 Pro Black, still great racquet! Finally got to test play the Legend Pro, I didn’t really notice much difference compared to the 2023 Speed Pro Black. The control, power, stability and maneuverability felt the same. Despite that being said, this is still a very great racquet! Maybe I can say the plow through is a bit better in the legend compared to the 2023 version, I love slicing with this racquet, especially backhand slices, as it is very precise and low to the court. Strung this with ALU Power @ 55 pounds, again, great racquet, but upgrade only if you want “the latest version” of this Speed Pro kind of mindset.
