Overview
Head makes big changes to the Graphene 360+ Radical Pro the heaviest member of the Radical family. Specializing in stability and controllable power, this 11.7 ounce racquet is ideal for strong intermediates and advanced players. In addition to adding 5 grams to the target weight, the 2021 Radical Pro gets a new mold along with a thinner beam and more arm-friendly flex rating. The signature technology is Graphene 360+, which combines the stability and easy power of Graphene 360 with SpiralFibers in the lower head to enhance feel. Like the previous generation, this stick has a Control Pattern. This feature includes denser main strings in the center for control, along with wider spacing at the margins for a more forgiving feel on off-center impact. On groundstrokes the Radical Pro feels comfortable, solid and surgical. In addition to giving you enough plow-through to trade heavy balls with big hitters, you'll have the control to swing big and execute your most powerful strokes. At net, the Radical Pro has the needed mass to comfortably redirect higher levels of pace, and it has enough touch to drop the ball on a dime. It also shines on service returns where blocks, chips and counter-punches come off without a hitch. With some impressive updates to the beam construction and feel, the Radical Pro continues to be an obvious option for experienced players who want the perfect balance between power and control. The solid feel at impact is a nice bonus.

Good racquetGood racquet strung at 52 pounds. I would go to 56. More this was a matching second racquet and weighs half an ounce more than its backup. Same strings and setup but one is heavier. Feels great at the net volleys and you can generate decent power. At 58 pounds strung it's like a board.
Head RadicalThe racquet plays strong. The weight is good, not too light or too heavy, but enough weight to swing through the ball. It plays with precision and strength.
solid feel & somewhat heavyFeels super solid and comfortable when hitting, but a little slow and heavy to swing for a long match -- a bit fatiguing.
The stick that does everything well.To give this review some context. I'm an aggressive all-court 5.0 player who is somewhat of a racquet nerd and played several sticks over the past years. The current racquets in my bag are Wilson Pro Staff V11, Yonex Vcore 95in., and Tecnifibre T40 18x20. All those racquets are great sticks, yet the Radical Pro fuses them all together for my game style. What makes the Radical Pro stand out is its feel and precision while giving you enough power and spin on the ball. I always feel connected to the ball with the confidence to place the fuzzy round on a dime. One can swing full out and rest assured that the stick will deliver in any game situation. Where this racquet excels, even more is in slicing the ball. I have never had a racquet that translated my slice (forehand and backhand) that well. With its 315g unstrung, it provides enough plow-through and mass to hang with heavy hitters while being extremely maneuverable for its weight. I added an over-grip and about 1.5 grams of lead at 12 o'clock to give it a bit more power. If you are an all-court player that likes to be creative and is not afraid to take big cuts, then this racquet will deliver.
Review head radical proI was playing with the Dunlop 200 CX 18x20 which I rather liked. I had played with the Dunlop Revelation 200g for twelve years. However,I found that I needed a bit more power especially on clay. The Head Radical provided it and also felt more lively feel off the strings. I like both racquets but the Head Radical is more versatile and the transition between hard court and clay is more seamless. I'm about a 4.5-5.0 player.
Murray uses one that looks like the old modelI demoed this racquet, this new model. The feel of it when hitting the ball is really good, solid and smooth; it seems like it has more control than really old Radical from about 10 years ago. I have been using a Prestige MP, the 2014 model since around 2015 or 16, and they both have 11.7 in weight, but this one feels heavier and more tiring, and maybe not as maneuverable, but this is a solid frame with good feel.
I loved it!The Radical Pro is the racquet that I have a lot of experience with. This is my 3rd version that I played with and I'm still a big fan. I'd like to thank Tennis Warehouse for having the demo program. I just had three racquets out for demo. The Radical Pro, Radical Midplus, and Radical Graphene Pro. The Radical Pro was my favorite again. With the Radical Pro my single handed backhand was more consistently over the net and deep. My cross court forehand was amazing. I simply could do no wrong. I was finally able to beat a friend that I've come close to but have failed to beat until this Radical Pro that I will be purchasing. Thanks again Tennis Warehouse and Head!
I found a Wilson Pro Staff ReplacementSome power, lots of control for 16 x 19 string pattern. Stable due to its weight, but reasonably easy to get around. The closest stick I've found to my hyper-Pro-Staff. Volleys are a breeze, overheads crushed. Serves are adequate, groundies are solid approach shots go where they're supposed to go, no trampolining. If you hit outside the sweet spot the power drops considerably, but the weight can help you to muscle the ball where you want it to go. If they add Auxetic, this could be a keeper!
Great racquetThis is a great racquet. I play singles and doubles at the 3.5 level. I find that the racquet has plenty of power on the serves, and enough mass to easily put balls away. On return of fast serves, I'm able to maneuver the racquet well, or able to block the ball back into the opponent's court. I pair this racquet with the Solinco Hyper G and find that it provides plenty of control and spin for my game.
Not as good as my Pro StaffLong time Pro Staff 90 player, then to RFA, then to ProStaff 97 (lighter than the RF signature). Tried the Clash 98, Head Prestige and Dunlop CX200. Clash the best of the bunch but will stay with the PS97. The Head came in 2nd place. Comfortable to hit but a bit unpredictable. Serving was a bit of a joke. Don't feel as connected to the ball as with the Pro Staff. My take away was that Wilson may make better racquets when I consider the Blade is good, the Pro Staff is my go to, and the Clash not horrible. Looking forward to trying the newest Babolats.
Great racquetRacquets are pretty personal I know and this one just fit me from the beginning. Took out a lot of demos, and instead of adjusting to fit the racquet, this racquet just fit what I do. You can do it all with this: gets great spin and power from the baseline, nice weight to plow through shots, great on serve, and reliable on touch shots. For me it was a great all around racquet which simply helped me do what I want to do. Highly recommended.
Head Radical Pro 2021It feels a lot like the old Radical TI that I used in the 90s. Great feel, and power, but still with control. It is well balanced.

Comments: Head got it right on this version of the Radical. I like everything about it. Perfect balance and swing weight. For a 98, it plays and feels like 100 in terms of controllable power. Great cosmetics, as well. I'm considering getting another one.

Comments: I love my new racquet! I get great spin off it, and I'm impressed with the balance of control and power.

Comments: Best racquet I have ever played with. It handles everything so well and I feel I can just hit and know its going to produce an amazing ball. For serves and backhands (one handed) it was a dream. Love this racquet and don't see anything beating it.

Comments: I am impressed with this racquet. It has nice balance of power and control. I love the feel when the ball comes off the racquet.

Comments: Switched to the Radical Pro from my Prince O3 100 sq in head size. Was looking to reduce power while increasing control, which the 98 size definitely does. Don't think I could go back to a 100, although there is a bit lacking up at the net on volleys. Power still great with this racquet. It's probably a bit heavy for some players, but doesn't seem to bother me. I'm 6'3, 220 pounds. I strung the racquet with Wilson Champion's Choice - natural gut in mains, poly in cross at 53 tension for all.

Comments: I have to amend my review from earlier. I stuck with this racquet and Head Hawk Touch at 53 pounds (per TW recommendation), although it seemed to take several hours of hitting for those strings to settle in and feel right. I also added a Gamma Shockbuster II, which removed the tinny feel and sound that plagued the experience of hitting. I was actually surprised how much that helped. This is now my go-to racquet. More control-oriented than power and more than enough heft to trade punches with heavy hitters. No problem hitting my spots. Great racquet.

Comments: I love this stick. I was hoping to get something slightly heavier than I was using, and a little more headlight. The color scheme stands out for sure. Overall, this racquet has increased my confidence on the court.

Comments: Demo'd this racquet and loved its feel, controllable power and great spin. Bought it, and hate it. Asked Tennis Warehouse what they string the demo with. Didn't improve. Feels tinny(almost like the frame is cracked), no power, just lacks the strike force capacity I felt with the demo. Tried several string set-ups and cannot recreate the magic.

Comments: I love this racquet. I used to play with the Yonex EZONE 98, but it gave me arm pain. Then, I switched to the Wilson Blade 98 v7, but found it too head heavy. I then changed it to the Head Graphene 360+ Extreme Tour; however, it was a bit too light for me. The Head Radical Pro has a good weight, but because of it's good balance and head light weight, it's fast to swing. Also, it feels lighter than the weight suggests. I can hit solid groundstrokes with pace, and a heavy ball. I can also hit good serves, and volleying is easy. It has a good blend of power and control. It's more for the advanced player who has a full swing.

Comments: I have been trying to transition from a VCORE Pro 330 gram to a 310 to 315 gram racquet, with a bit more power and similar control with a lighter weight for the past year. I tried the EZONE Tour 98 for five months, but I had severe wrist and elbow pain for the first time in my life. I'm 35, 5.0 level player, and have been playing since I was a kid, it was that racquet, not me.This Radial Pro is a more maneuverable 315 gram racquet with a great combo of control and power. Good feel, not great feel for touch shots and slice. Excellent groundstrokes and serves. My arm doesn't get tired and the color is awesome. No arm problems at all. Don't be put off by the color, it's a reddish orange, not orange like the fruit. If you're 4.0 level or better, give this racquet a demo.

Comments: Switched to this racquet after demoing. I like the consistent heavy ball that it hits. The specifications are perfect to use with no or little modification, something I appreciate. There's some aspects that could improve though. Some have mentioned it could possibly benefit from a tiny bit more power or a more generous sweetspot, I guess this is true, but I'm happy as it is. A more subtle color scheme would be good, does anyone actually like the color orange? The two racquets I bought seemed a little under the listed weight, and one of them had a small defect and had to be exchanged, when you sell the racquets as Austrian Engineered it's not a good look. This may have been a one-off, but manufacturing standards could improve. The feel is nice, but too muted for my liking, like there is a dampener inside, but it's better to have a raw feel, and you can use a dampener in the stringbed if you want. Finally there is a weight in the butt cap. I can't see the point of it, and I'd prefer if this weight was more graphite, spiral fiber, foam or silicon, something that actually contributes to the feel and playability. Overall though, the racquet is a good one.

Comments: Really enjoying playing with this racquet. I was looking for something with a bit more heft and feel than the lighter and stiffer racquet I had been using. The Radical Pro is allowing me to hit out more on the ball without having to use crazy amounts of topspin to keep it in the court. It also provides great feel on touch shots and volleys. Additionally, off-center hits are way more forgiving than with my previous racquet. I am sacrificing a bit of pop on my serve, but the benefits far outweigh the negatives. Very happy with this new stick!

Comments: I played three sets with the new Radical Pro the other day. I was serving bombs with it. It was like serving with a Pure Drive. But my groundstrokes weren't nearly as solid as with my usual modified 2015 Pro Staff 97. Compared to the original Pro Staff 97 leaded up the exact same way. The Radical Pro felt hollow and weak on returns and groundstrokes. What I'm able to clearly notice is that the Radical Pro is polarized. Head has definitely placed the weight at each end of the racquet leaving the throat hollow and flimsy feeling. It's not as evenly distributed like the Pro Staff. I'm going to try and mess around with weight placement to see if perhaps I can make this thing feel more solid. Otherwise the Pro Staff will continue to be my racquet of choice. It's a shame Head polarized this frame. I think it could be a fantastic racquet if they would have made it more solid in the middle. My guess is that the Prestige Pro is likely the better frame for people like myself who like a solid feeling frame that can redirect pace and move the ball more easily.

Comments: Excellent option to renew your old Radical Pro. It fits perfectly and the extra weight you can't really feel at all.
From: Carlos, 3/20/21
Comments: What a fantastic update. Stable, yet easy to maneuver and with great feel. Perfect balance between power and control. Also decent amount of spin securing deep court shots to land safely inside the baseline. Very happy with the new Radical Pro.

Comments: I grew up playing with this line and this feels like a step in the right direction. The ball comes off clean and crisp, has easy power, and feels very stable. I can definitely feel the weight in the hoop more than the previous versions, and dropping the stiffness really improves the feel. If you grew up playing with Radicals or want something different from Wilson Blades or Babolat Pure Strikes, give this a go. I'm 5.0 former college player and coach.
