Overview
With this racquet, Babolat takes the legendary power and spin of the Pure Drive franchise and puts it into a more comfortable and forgiving head size. It's called the Pure Drive 107 and it is perfect for beginner and intermediate players. Updated with Babolat's new HTR System, the graphite layup has been re-engineered for higher torsional rigidity, resulting in more efficient energy transfer to the ball. To help soak up the harsher vibrations of this racquet's stiff construction, Babolat has devoted more real estate in the Pure Drive's shaft to SWX Pure Feel a thin and extremely flexible viscoelastic rubber that sits between the carbon layers. Additional features include FSI Power Technology, which optimizes the grommet system and string spacing for higher energy return and vicious RPMs (think heavy ball).
From the baseline, the Pure Drive 107 offers a comfortably crisp response. With its generous hitting area, this stick is more comfortable and forgiving than the standard Pure Drive. In addition to its explosive acceleration and easy power, this racquet's spin-potential delivers impressive command over the ball. At net the Pure Drive 107 comes around with lightning speed to deliver above average stability for its weight class. Block volleys feel solid, and there is no struggle required to execute deep, piercing replies. This stick also shines on serve where the slightly extended length (27.2") delivers easier power than a standard length racquet. Ultimately, with some incremental tweak to the feel, the Pure Drive 107 continues to be a great option for the player who wants the undeniable advantages that come from a larger, more user-friendly head size.

Great Racquet - Comfort, Control, and PowerLet me preface this - I'm no professional, but I enjoy playing. I don't serve fast, and my forehand fails me regularly. This racquet, however, has improved my ability to hit forehand winners, and I've picked up my serve a bit. Highly recommend this racquet for the weekend players that are competitive, but not overly serious.
A good racquetThis Babolat racquet is a solid choice for those seeking an over-size frame. It plays stiff and a little heavier than the specs might suggest, but it provides a good mixture of power and control when strung with the right string. I would suggest using a control-oriented, soft string. My choice was Weiss Cannon Ultra Cable 17. If you are a 4.0 or better, suggest you string it at 54 pounds. You get good spin and touch as well as the power.

All Around funThis is the best racquet that I have played with in many years! From top spin to slice to serves to volleys to feel. This racquet does it all it gives you the power you need, but also the control. I would highly recommend this racquet for anyone who would like to improve their game and have more fun playing tennis.

Would buy this again.Other racquets have become popular but this is better than anything I have ever used and continues to be my best performing racquet with each update.

Best game improvement racquetThis is the best game improvement racquet you'll find out there. I've had it nearly 10 years now and I know why my game has improved from a weak 3.0 to a mid-4.0 level (never had coaching in my life). Big sweet spot, lots of spin and power. Lighter weight helps out at the net. Go for this and you will not regret it.
More than an intermediate's stickI have one of these for my teenager. Although I don't play matches with it, I easily could -- you can play good tennis with this racquet. Very powerful, very maneuverable, very forgiving of imperfect ball striking, and capable of massive topspin. It is less controlled than a smaller head size but by no means erratic -- the stiff frame gives you good directional control and great serves. The only reason you don't see high level players using this racket is its very light weight -- just not enough plow through if you are facing a blistering serve or heavy passing shot from a good player. One more thing: it's VERY stiff, so if you suffer from tennis elbow, look elsewhere.

Comments: Keep a loose grip and swing with around 70% effort and the racquet will do the rest of the work. I've been playing since 1991 and this is the best racquet I've ever owned. A+ Babolat!
