Updated with improved dampening for 2021, the Pure Drive 110 continues to be an obvious choice for any player who wants high comfort, easy power and raw speed. At under 10 ounces strung, this ultra maneuverable racquet is not only ideal for beginners, it should also tempt the senior doubles player who is looking to supercharge their serves, volleys and returns. In addition to its forgiving oversize head, this arm-friendly racquet has an extended 27.6" length, resulting in extra leverage for loading the ball with power. Updated with Babolat's new HTR System, this racquet's graphite layup has been re-engineered for higher torsional rigidity, resulting in more efficient energy transfer to the ball. To help soak up harsher vibrations, Babolat has devoted more real estate in the Pure Drive's shaft to SWX Pure Feel, a thin and extremely flexible viscoelastic rubber that sits between the carbon layers. Additional features include FSI Power Technology, which optimizes the grommet system and string spacing for higher energy return and vicious RPMs (think heavy ball).
On groundstrokes this racquet moves with lightning speed. It rewards medium length strokes with easy depth, and there is blistering power available on full swings. The large hitting area provides a nice margin of error, ensuring that comfort and power remain high even when contact is less than perfect. It also packs an open 16x19 string pattern with impressive spin-potential. As with the previous generation, this racquet shines at net. In addition to moving fast when the pressure is on, this racquet's large and stable hitting surface makes it easy to hit effective volleys. With its extended 27.6" length, it not only hits lethal overheads, but it give you an undeniable power boost on serve. Ultimately, with some impressive tweaks to the feel, the Pure Drive 110 keeps getting better. Players looking for a fast, comfortable and powerful oversize racquet should start here.
Great Racquet!I am very happy with this racquet. As a 3.0 player, I find it perfect. It's lightweight yet solid. I'm glad to have found this racquet after restringing my former racquet twice and then buying another brand. This is now my one & only racquet.

High School SophomoreI bought the Babolat PD 110 for my daughter who just started playing tennis approximately five months ago and made the High School team, seeded sixth. The racquet has been great for her, giving her really good controlled power in her ground game but also really added power to her serve. We strung it with ALU Power, at 55 pounds. Great racquet.

Babolat Pure Drive 110I loved the Prince triple threat grande from the 90’s. I’ve tried many new racquets since then hoping to find one as good. I never did until I bought this one. It’s an excellent racquet plays like the Prince but with a lot more feel. I get good depth on my shots too. I would recommend this racquet to anyone who likes an oversize racquet.

Great racquet for senior players! After I got this racquet and put gut on it my sore arm went away! Easy power, especially on serve! I didn't know Andre Agassi used an oversize racquet most of his career although not this brand. So pro's do use oversized sticks. This racquet when struck correctly is a rocket launcher!

Comments: Hard to bite the bullet here and admit it, but needed help in the form of an oversize racquet. Grew up with Prince Graphite (107) and used to dominate in juniors, college, and satellite events. Then moved to a smaller head size out of pride (100, 98, 97) in my older years. Not good. Just bought two of these Babolat 110's and won my first tournament in years! Demo'd the racquet first, and fell in love. It's super responsive, has a great sweet spot and easy power make it a no-brainer! Strung with new Babolat Feel at 52 and the contact is so crisp and effortless. Highly recommend! Comments: Great racquet. I've been using it for about 6 years. A bit head light for me, but a strip of lead tape does the trick. I mainly rely on spin and control. Great when strung with 18 gauge synthetic gut. From: Rey, San Antonio, TX, 1/1/22
Comments: I wanted a racquet which was heavier than the one I had, but lighter than the Babolat model my son uses. This one plays great for me. I'm very pleased with it. From: Anonymous, 10/29/21
Comments: Does not absorb vibration at all against advanced player's pace (4.0 and up.) Too light. Leave it for beginners and kids. From: Anonymous, 10/19/21
Comments: If you're looking for a lighter racquet, this is the one. Really great feel. From: Anonymous 7/6/21
Comments: Finally. A real upgrade of the old 110 Cortexes. This one is an ounce lighter, coming in at the mid-9's strung. Despite being relatively light overall, the large sweet spot makes up for it as it plays well against harder hitters. This racquet, unlike most OS racquets, is not head-heavy. It's actually pretty much evenly-balanced with strings and an overgrip. Works for players who take a full stroke too. Extended length is a big plus, 27.6, helps on reach, serving, and extra swing speed. Good for older doubles players who used to be solid players with real strokes. From: Bill, 6/19/21

Comments: Love it. Love it. I feel it has improved my backhand by making it easier to switch my grip from forehand to backhand. I like the confidence that it gives me. From: Jeri, 5/12/21
Comments: Great racquet! The TW team did a good job finding the one most like my old Babolat Pure Drive, loved that one from more than five years ago. This one too. From: Vicki, 4/21/21
