This racquet delivers impressive comfort and playability to improving players
Pre-strung for extra savings!
Introducing the EVO Drive Lite! With this racquet, Babolat gives beginners, early intermediates and occasional players an easy swinging racquet with impressive all-around playability. In addition to being lighter and faster than the standard EVO Drive, this stick gives you the benefit of a powerful and comfortable 104 square inch head. It also has an open 16x17 string pattern, making it a great tool for learning how to hit with more spin. As with Babolat's premium performance frames, the EVO Drive Lite has SWX EVO Feel, a thin viscoelastic rubber added to multiple locations inside the frame in order to reduce harsh vibrations. The EVO Drive Lite also benefits from Babolat's time-tested Woofer technology, a grommet system that optimizes frame-string interaction to create added dwell time (for control) along greater shock absorption (for comfort). As with Babolat's legendary Pure Drive family, this racquet has a firm Elliptic Beam, which transfers greater power to the ball while also keeping the frame more stable through impact. Ultimately, this is a great option for improving players looking for high performance at a great price.

Customer Reviews
Great combination between playability/powerI am 53 and progressing since 7 years. I have a good condition, but my serve, forehand and backhand need to progress (power and centering the ball). I play defensively with good slicing but I am now improving wrist coordination, power and follow through. Actually most racquets are probably too heavy for amateurs. This one has a perfect combination, and you can easily center the ball. The string pattern helps to generate power, and I don't feel I am losing too much control. I play with the Babolat synthetic gut 1.30 as originally put on the racquet. When you think that modern players are playing now with lighter racquets (300 gram unstrung), why should we be there as amateur? I am not saying you shouldn't try to increase weight but this is really a good choice

good for older playersYou say it is good for beginners, but I also will say it is good for older doubles players. I am in my mid 80's and with Head Rip Control 16g string strung at 55# I find I have good control and pace with this racquet.
