Customer Reviews
Strings keep breakingThey break weekly. Like the other reviews, he loves the control, but we've tried so many different brands/tensions all done by professionals. He only plays for wide a week 1.5 each time. Does not hit hard. Our cheaply $20 racquet have never broken their strings. I've played tennis most of my life and have never had this happen. They just break when not in use. It's so weird. I'm going back Prince.
Missing a couple of crosses?Just wondering why my son’s 25" is only having 16 mains and 17 crosses, 235g weight whilst here it says 16 mains & 19 crosses? My son is 8 1/2 years old, plays 20 hours a week and breaks the strings weekly. Lately, he has started breaking the strings (Prince syn gut with or without Duraflex after a couple of hours of play). We have tried different strings with the the same outcome. The strings move a lot, I mean a lot and don’t snap back into place, syn gut or multifilament regardless. The tension we have used has varied from 42lbs to 50lbs, strung by a professional stringer. I am not sure what to do whether to continue playing with this racquet or change to a different racquet, stringing this racquet has been very costly. The strings we have tried were Gamma Syn Gut, Prince classics syn gut, Prince Duraflex syn gut, Solinco syn gut, Isocream multi, Wilson NXT comfort multi, Hybrid Babolat soft poly with Head Velocity multi in crosses and Hybrid Babolat soft with Wilson NXT comfort or NXT Power in crosses. He does enjoy playing with this racquet, it is easy to swing and comfortable, and he can generate a lot of power and spin. He has a spare Head Gravity 25", and has not had similar string issues.
