PolyTour RevI strung a 2025 Yonex Ezone 98 with a synthetic gut/18 gauge poly hybrid pattern, at 54 pounds. That played well, but then, I strung the same racquet with purple 17 gauge Yonex PolyTour Rev, at 54 pounds, and the full bed of poly plays much better.
Better than thicker gaugesI reviewed the thicker gauges of this string and had mixed feelings. Even played with the 16L version after so called stringers suggested it’s nearly the same as the 17. They are incorrect. The 17 gauge gives ample power and comfort in my Ezone 100. Yet still offering amazing control and depth on my shots. Feel is slightly muted but there is good feel. The crackling and pop that comes from a clean hit is awesome. Tension is pretty good for a poly and lasts probably one to two months if playing frequently. Tension at 47 pounds. Price is expensive but you get what you pay for. My string of choice as an intermediate player which definitely help my game.

Great stringsPolytour Rev at 17 gauge (strung at 48 pounds) feels like custom-made for my racquet (Yonex Vcore 98) and playing style. They provide great control and feel, and easy access to both spin and power (on flat shots). The strings are not too stiff (at this gauge), and I am also happy with the tension and playability maintenance. Currently, these are my favorite strings. I just wish they were a little less expensive.

Great stringLove this string a lot have tons of control on my shots. Even as the tension is going down I'm getting a nice feeling on my shots is it has hard as lynx tour is when it starts dying. Great string and love the color purple it comes in.

Love this string!I string at 48 pounds in my Yonex VCore 100. Love its elasticity and power. Had previously used Babolat RPM Blast and before that Cyclone. Both very good strings, but something about this combination works even better. I'm 4.0, mostly singles.
Good string and arm-friendlyI swapped from Hyper-G, Tour Bite, and Head Lynx Tour. Arm friendly, while still quite crispy. Strung it at 50lbs, and I wish I strung it at 53-55lbs. Some tension loss after a few weeks (I play eight-ten hours per week with this), but still playable. But the tension loss is definitely less than that of Polytour Pro. Overall good, but the price is evil. There is probably a cheaper option of hybrid for poly strings that bring similar feelings.
Amazing spin and playability!I had to retire my 2016 Babolat Pure Aero, and after demoing several racquets, bought the 2023 V Core 100. I'm very pleased with how it works for me, and the grip allows me to do more than what I could do with the Babolat. The stringer at my local shop recommended Polytour Rev 17. I was already using RPM Blast 17. But the Rev feels lighter and stronger at the same time and really enhances my heavy topspin. I listened to the TW's video review of all of the new Yonex strings, and came away convinced that this is the right one for me. Have tried both the orange and the purple.
Yonex POLYTOUR REVI received this product after 2-3 days I placed the order. What a quick delivery! I've loved this Yonex Polytour Rev since last year. although it is polyester, still feel comfortable & resilience to some extent. Moreover, it works pretty well with Yonex Racquets for sure.
Excellent All Around PolyI've been on a journey for the past 6 months trying to find the perfect poly for my game and this may be the one. It's not the absolute best in any one category but it performs excellent across all without having any significant downsides. Excellent spin, great tension maintenance, plenty of control and surprisingly comfortable. I tried the purple color, highly recommended! 44 lbs in a VCP 100.
