Great stringThis string is not the most controlled string, but for me, it's a very good balance of control and power. Great feel.
Love these stringsThese strings are awesome! It feels like I can just pick up the ball and put it anywhere I want!
Forehand went crazyThe string is pretty solid and the biggest plus is how cheap it is. My forehand felt amazing with so much spin. I usually hit a flatter backhand so it didn’t feel as good or solid. My flat serve felt the same but my kick serve I could notice more spin. The durability is decent. I noticed significant drop off in playability after the 1st session.
Very good stringI strung this in my Head Gravity Pro 2023 at 52 pounds and it was incredible. I was skeptical at first because I've never messed with Yonex strings but this and Head Lynx Tour are my strings of choice now. The feel is absolutely amazing and I could rip flat forehands and backhands super easily. The string wasn't harsh on my arm and felt very connected to the ball. Overall 9/10 due to tension dropping a bit after two weeks but that's normal for a polyester string. Would recommend!!!

Excellent budget poly!I bought this string earlier this fall as part of a Buy-One-Get-One-Free deal and I'm so glad that I did! It provides both amazing control and spin as well, which is always helpful given that I currently play with an 18x20 string pattern racquet. I feel confident being aggressive and going for my shots and keeping my shots in play and being consistent. I do recommend stringing this at the lower tension of the recommended tension range of your racquet to help provide you with more power given that this is a poly string. Anyone looking for a control string which they can provide their own power, I highly recommend this!

Nice budget good performancePerformed exactly like what I would expect from a brand name poly at this price level. Just don't string it too tight (I recommend maximum 48 pounds) to get enough pop and snapback for nice margin through adequate spin and decent pace. Considering a reel if discount is good.

StringMy new racquet has a lot of power and this string provides great spin on the ball.

Yonex POLYTOUR DRIVENot bad, great pop. Does not come with Yonex logo, you need the stencil + spraypaint to add it. No complaints however.

An inexpensive foray into the world of polysTried Yonex PT Drive after getting a racquet that already had it installed. Liked the “deader” feel the string provides that makes it seem almost plush at times. Would have ranked higher but tension loss can be an issue.
Great budget stringSpin power string at half the cost.
You get what you pay forNot bad, for the price. Positives: spin, controllable launch angle, tension maintenance is pretty average. Negatives: cheap/tinny sound on impact, not much pocketing. The “feel” I would say is slightly muted, similar to Hyper-G in this regard. I felt like this string could be slightly unpredictable at times. Overall this is a very average poly at a lower price. Strung at 51 pounds in a Yonex Vcore Pro 97D.
Nice string at a great price. This string has a very good blend of characteristics. It has above average ball pocketing, control, feel and power when required. It's a solid choice which allows you to just focus on your mechanics. Price is superb.
Good string at a great priceNormally use Polytour Strike, but decided to order both during the Yonex sale just to try it out. Strung up my EZone with it at 52lbs and played yesterday. Def a softer string compared to the Strike. I did notice (maybe it’s my imagination?) that there was more stretch during stringing. I still use a drop weight machine and noticed I had to “pull” tension more than once to achieve the desired setting. Play-wise, no major difference that I can write about. Strokes weren’t better or worse. Can feel the difference, but again, nothing that would warrant a “Much more xx compared to Strike” type review. More importantly, def no downsides so I would recommend this string, especially if you’re looking to save a few bucks.
StringVery durable.
Good stringI tried this Yonex Polytour Drive in my Wilson Blade 18x20. It felt great for the first set but really dropped its tension within the second set. Unfortunate because it feels pretty good for a monofilament string. It's not such a stiff string but rather flexible and does not have a plastic feeling to it. Some monofilament string do, but this is rather flex feeling. Perhaps the 16L helps. Good string, but looses its tension too soon I feel.
Quality String at an Affordable PriceI currently have the silver version stung in my 2023 Vcore 100 V7 at 52# and it plays great. Provides nice spin (good string snap back) and great ball pocketing. Comfort is right in the middle - not to firm and very comfortable. At around $9 a set, you get the Yonex quality and a very affordable price. I ended up buying a reel.

Comments: This is my favorite Yonex string by far. Great touch, feel, spin, and control for players who can generate power. I Recommend the 16L gauge to anyone.

Comments: Strung this on crosses with Tecnifibre X-One Biphase 17 1.24mm on the mains at 49 and 47 pounds respectively on my EZONE 98. Fantastic combination in terms of feel, power, and control. I strongly recommend this string to the players who are looking for a medium power poly which provides excellent spin, well done Yonex!
