Overview
Introducing Power Fiber Pro! With this string Volkl creates a more durable and controlled version of Power Fiber II, one of the game's most comfortable multifilaments. Like Power Fiber II, this string deploys an army of flexible filaments to absorb greater shock and vibration at impact. As a result it is perfect for the player who wants an arm-friendly string. For this version of Power Fiber, Volkl uses bigger filaments made from a firmer polymer. The result is MORE CONTROL, making it easier for you to swing bigger when adding pace and spin to your shots. The added control also helps when selecting ambitious targets or trying to close out a point. All in all, this is a great option for the player who wants a comfortable multifilament string with above average control for the breed.

Comments: This time, I'm experimenting multifilament strings due to my elbow problem. I came from Tecnifibre Pro Red Code on my Head Youtek IG Extreme MP, which was a stiff racquet and caused my tennis elbow. I purchased three sets of multifilament strings, Volkl Power Fiber Pro, Head Velocity MLT, and Tecnifibre Multifeel. This Volkl Power Fiber Pro is the first one I've experimented. I love the softness, the pop, and the feel of this string. The power is above average. The spin potential is below average. It feels like the sweetspot on my racquet is getting bigger. The ball pocketing is awesome. My recommendation is to make it as high tension as you can to obtain good control. It only lasted five hours of hitting. I strung it on my customized Head Microgel Radical Midplus at 55 and 53 pounds. If you are looking for a super arm-friendly string with very nice feel and pop, this is worth a try. I'm using 16 gauge red color.

Comments: This is a great string to hybrid with. I put it in the crosses of my Yonex Vcore Pro 97 with Babolat RPM Blast 17g with fabulous results. Tons of control with just the right amount of power. Fabulous string. The only knock I have on it is that my shoulder was sore after a few hours of hitting with it compared to other multifilament strings.
