Tourna Premium PolyI use this poly in a hybrid only. Two reasons, it's round and it's pretty dead. I use it as a cross with Head Velocity mains. It tames the power in my Textreme Warrior 107, and it will tame the power in a powerful racquet, without accelerating the wear on the multifilament.

Tourna premium poly 17Would rate this string a 3-4 star string for hybrid stringing. I use A Prince Textreme Warrior 107, which is an inherently powerful racquet to begin with. I prefer multifilament strings for the feel I get as I play mostly doubles. I use Wilson NXT power in the mains at 56 pounds and this Tourna Premium in the crosses at 54 pounds. I get the feel I need from the NXT mains, and Tourna PP tames the power and spins. Plays very crisp in this set up. Also holds tension till the NXT breaks. It is a dead type of string, so I would not recommend a full bed. Overall, great for taming powerful racquets in a hybrid. I am a 3.5-4.0 player, eastern grip, one-handed backhand.
