Offering the most control in the Tour line, this is perfect for aggressive players looking to swing big
As the most control oriented member of Prince's Tour line Tour XC is perfect for big hitters looking to keep more balls in play. It also manages to offer surprisingly good comfort for a firm poly. Made with a low-friction coating, this string snaps the ball out of the string bed with extra spin. Also a great option for value hunters who want a long lasting poly.

Prince fan (not the singer)I've played Prince for over 40 years and this one is the first one I cut out cause it was getting soft after 6 weeks of playing 4 times a week! Never happened before! Good response and feed back! Easy on the arm!

Prince Tour XC 16LI prefer polyester strings, but some had a harder feel and a ping sound when I hit. I tried the Tour XC and noticed a softer feel and the pinging sound was slight to hardly noticeable. I continued to get good spin on short cross court and also on longer deep baseline shots. Then I noticed that my shots did stay in more easily. I had no problem generating good power. I started at 52 pounds in M’s and C’s, but now string at 48 pounds and that is what I am basing this review on. I really like this string. As Ace Ventura said, “Smokin, someone stop me.”

Comments: One of the best value strings I have ever played with. It offers exceptional control, has great ball pocketing, and is easy on the arm. It's a super string for crosses with natural gut mains because of the slippery coating and it lasts for a long time.

Comments: I put this full set in my new Babolat 2015 and felt that played well for 5 hours of hard hitting, but after that it became inconsistent. After 12 hours of play it snapped and I don't usually snap strings. Certainly it is good for 5 hours, but I believe after that, the strings are just good for practice.

Comments: Like David said, this is a very slippery string. Unlike the TW reviews, I felt great ball pocketing and softness with this string. It produces as much ball bite as Firewire, Tour Bite, and Zo Verve while all being softer. Great string in a full bed. I have it strung in a Six.One 95 at 52 lbs.

Comments: This is the "slippery-est" string I've tested providing the bet "snap back" I've seen with no notching. Resulting in spin potential that is the best I've experienced. Love this string. Now I prefer this string over the Solinco Tour Bite and the Tierone FireWire. I hybrid the 15g XC with the 17L XC -- it gives me super confidence and improved depth consistency.
