Overview
Tecnifibre Multifeel gets a sleek black makeover! Like the original version, this string has a monofilament core surrounded by bundles of arm-friendly filaments. The result is a string that is easy on your arm while also delivering impressive control. Our playtesters found it to play with slightly more precision and predictability than the original Multifeel. We also found the feel to be more crisp. In addition to providing comfort seekers with more control, this string's abrasion resistant coating gives it an impressive level of durability for a soft string.
Try this 17 gauge option for slightly more spin and feel but less durability than the 16 gauge version.

String - Tecnifibre Multifeel 17/1.25I am a senior player who plays doubles. I like this string very much. I string it 48/45 on a Yonex Ezone 100SL.

Amazing comboThis string gives me an amazing combo of the arm-friendliness of a multifilament, with more control/feel because of the solid core. It’s brilliant! I can hit harder and keep the ball landing precisely in the spots I want. It helps me also with touch volleys at the net. I wish I had discovered it sooner. I’m a USTA 4.5 with an all around game.
My Favorite MultiStrings are very personal so I’m not really sure how much one person’s feeling about a string will apply much to someone else. That said, having come from years playing full bed poly, I started experimenting with hybrids using synthetic gut and multifilament mains along with slick, round poly crosses.
I’ve tried a lot of different synguts and multis in the mains and Multifeel black is the best for me for two reasons:
1. The reason for switching from poly mains was to get a softer, less “boardy” feeling and although multifeel is among the crispest of all the multis I’ve tried, it’s far softer and plusher than any poly I’ve ever played with.
2. Nearly every syngut or multi I’ve played with moves out of position and doesn’t snap back like most polys do. This distracts me on court. Until it’s worn out and close to breaking, at least when hybrided with round, slick poly crosses, Multifeel black snaps back into place far better than any other syngut or multi I’ve played - it’s very much like a poly in that regard.
For maximum feel I play the 17/1.25 gauge but it doesn’t last anywhere near as long as the 16/1.30. Because I string myself, I don’t mind re-stringing more often, but if I were paying someone else to re-string (and waiting for them to do it), I’d probably play the 1.30 because it does last a lot longer and the difference in feel is not enormous.
Great versatile stringI use this string when I don't have any gut available. It is predictable, has great playability and is very reasonably priced. It is a low powered multi so I string it in the low 50's in a full bed and also when I use it in a hybrid with poly. As a stringer it is very easy to string. Great value.
TechnifibreMultifeel 17Really good string at a great price!
A good value multifilament stringI find this to be a good value alternative to TNT & Wilson NXT. This is a responsive string that adds power and spin. This is much more lively than the Head MLT which is between a multifilament & a soft poly. I might try this string in a hybrid.
Technifibre MultifeelMy favorite string. Holds tension much better than other control strings I have used. So much so that I am able to use 17g rather than 16g. They are priced such that I am able to change strings often so they always have a great feel.
