Overview
Solinco Tour Bite Soft lives up to its name. This very impressive control string is definitely on the softer side of the polyester spectrum. Given the overall playability, we think this gentler version of Tour Bite will work well not only for advanced players but also big swinging intermediates. Like the original version, Tour Bite Soft is shaped for massive grip on the ball. The result is huge spin potential. Our playtesters reported a more generous power level as compared to the original Tour Bite. Ultimately, though, a full swing is required to get the most out of this string. Big hitters looking to get exceptional spin and precision without a lot of shock are encouraged to take this one out for a spin.

Solid choice for experienced playersYou need a long swing with your own power to make this string work. It’s not super beginner friendly but for an intermediate player you would be okay. I started using this because I wasn’t happy with the durability on Hyper-G. This was a good compromise with the performance I wanted and what seems like better durability. It’s also easy on my arm and I tend to get arm issues if the setup is too stiff.

Great feel, spin and value !Hoping the feeling lasts longer, but you can't ask much of a poly in this regard. I really like the first couple weeks on this, then I wish I have the courage to cut it off and replace for new ones.

Comments: I am an advanced player who uses a Wilson Blade 16x19, strung at 49 pounds. I bought these strings in the hopes I could find an improvement versus Luxilon, I currently play with 4G 16L, and hopefully the impact on my shoulder wouldn't be as bad. Also for durability, as the 4G does not last long. To my disappointment, I quickly developed some serious tennis elbow. The strings are good, but very stiff, even on the soft model. I will go back to my Luxilon 4G 16L.

Comments: First time I played with Tour bite, then I went for Tour bite soft. Not even close to German made polys. Kirschbaum Pro Line 2, Signum Hyperior, Head Sonic Pro 6 Edge are cheaper and much better in tension maintance, comfort and spin. If you want to use full poly set up forget about Solinco.
