Not What I ExpectedI generally play with 20 gauge Hyper G. Of the various polys I've tried, it provides the best combination of spin and power. I tried Mach 10 (18 gauge) because I wouldn't mind getting a little more power and feel. Mach 10 definitely delivers more pop. But it utterly fails to deliver the spin I'm accustomed to with Hyper G. That was a surprise. To me, Mach 10 plays like a synthetic gut, not a poly. It probably will help players who have arm trouble due to poly. But that's not me. I've watched a quite a few positive Mach 10 reviews. Some say it's a gateway poly for players who haven't played with a poly before. Whatever. I have great respect for Solinco, but I can't recommend this stuff, except maybe for players who desperately need something softer. Even then, I suspect there are better options.
