Great poly! 1.30 mm may help string breakersSolinco Hyper-G Soft is a great string that still has the traditional benefits of a standard polyester but is much more arm friendly. Good pop and control at medium to medium low tensions. My nephew was breaking the 1.25 mm version of this string semi-quickly but after switching to the 1.30 mm the strings are lasting 2.5 months.

Soft, control stringsGreat for control. Not as crisp as Tour Bite but easy on the arm. And they look great too!

Matches well with my franeExcellent string for me. Playing with the third generation Pure Strike 98 (16x19) and Hyper-G Soft makes for a very comfortable hitting experience. I find the tension maintenance decent and can move between 16 and 17 gauge easily strung anywhere between 45-50 pounds. Recommend it if you have a sensitive arm but still want what a poly string offers.
Lonnnngggg break-in needed (For Me)Fresh off the stringer this was practically unplayable, when strung at 48lbs in a Yonex Vcore Pro 97D. Absolute board with zero feel or power. I have never experienced another string like this before. However, I let this sit in my bag for over a month without using it, allowing it to drop considerable tension. After this extensive "break-in period", the string was great. The feel was still muted, but provided good pocketing and feedback. Compared to Tour Bite Soft, Hyper-G Soft is definitely less powerful, less spinny, and has a lower launch angle. However, I would argue that Hyper-G Soft is more controlled and feels nicer on volleys. Probably works better for ball crushers rather than someone like me who relies more on serve-and-volley.
Long break-in periodThis string takes ten plus hours to drop tension and settle in. Off the stringer this felt boardy and very muted. It had no power. But after it lost tension it played much better and I enjoyed it. Good feel, spin, and control. If you want power, look elsewhere. Strung at 48lbs in Yonex Vcore Pro 97D.
Good Durability and Arm Friendly PolySolinco provides a nice arm friendly poly. Tension maintenance is good and the durability has been excellent. Good value as well.
Great stringThis string was great. Used it for my 13 year old son's Head Speed at 52 pounds. Great control. Incredible spin. Plush feel. This is the soft version so will have to see how long it lasts but the price is great.

Comments: As a long-time user of Volkl Cyclone 17g, I subbed Solinco Hyper-G Soft 16g into my Wilson Pro Staff 97 v13, and discovered the following differences: a bit less topspin grip, but much better control in terms of depth/placement, more solid feel and nicer sound when you hit in the center, and little notching which usually means the string set will last much longer. Of course, the phosphorescent green against a matte black frame is impressive to the eye. More importantly, I have had about 8-10 hitting/drill sessions so far without experiencing drop in tension. I use drop weight stringer and found this string easy to use and to grip. Would highly recommend for club level. Will be experimenting in hybrid set ups, maybe with Hyper-G Soft in crosses, and Solinco Tour Bite in the mains. My tension range is usually 50/48 to 54/52, as I prefer two-piece stringing and higher tension (or less stretch) in the mains. I've usually stayed at the cheaper end of the polyester string offerings because my quality of hit usually goes down fast after just a few sessions and I find that too often I have to restring because of notching, or the polymer just gets chewed up in the center. So, I think this string at 16g performs well, feels comfortable, and is a good value.
