Hyper-G 17PROS- GREAT FEEL one of a kind and kinda addicting (to some it may come off too spongy) GREAT SPIN- 4 sided strings provides excellent spin for loopy shots or even slices SOLID POWER- for a poly the 17 gauge will provide above average power for a poly, not close to a natural gut but for a poly more than enough power, and good on touch shots as well CONS- Muted, the string doesn't make much sound and this can affect accuracy sometimes but it is still very controlled and doesn't launch often .

Continuous to surpriseI started playing this string 6 years ago after an annoying tennis elbow. I tried multifilament strings they helped but didn’t last! I played natural gut but couldn’t afford it. My elbow recovered and now I keep playing this string. I do like the feed back when I hit the ball. It digs in good and I can create a lot of pain on my forehand!

Poly stringsI was suggested the Hyper-G 17 gauge strings by a TW consultant for my new Prince racquet. Absolutely what I was looking for and the details from the consultant made me comfortable to choose the right strings.

Great product! To be honest, I’ve spent a considerable amount of time researching tennis strings and racquets for my teenage son, following his coach’s advice along the way. After reviewing many options, I’m glad to have found this standout product. So far, my son loves it.

Great power, feel, and spin... almost a 5There isn't much to add to Hyper-G. Excellent string overall. Strung at 50 pounds on a Blade v8 18x20. It's very comfortable on the 17 gauge, but slightly harder to control. I guess you sacrifice control for comfort. I prefer 16 gauge or 16L in the mid-40s, but it's tougher on the arm. Overall, it is a good and reliable string. The price beats most of the competition.

Great controlSolid contact and really good control. While this string is designed for spin it's also really good for players who hit the ball lower and flatter.

Great but stiffVery good overall string. Spin, control, feel are all very good. Even comfort was not bad… until it flared up my tennis elbow. Seemed comfortable at first, but my tennis elbow returned after a week or two. Had to switch back to Volkl Cyclone. Hyper-G 17 gauge is much more comfortable than the 16L. I’d recommend stringing a little looser than your usual poly as it strings up a little tighter and if you don’t have any elbow issues.

String is good, string job was badReceived this with order of my 2024 Prince Phantom 100 305. I asked for 46/47 pounds and when I received it, some of the crosses were bowed and when I measured the tension, it was sitting at between 35-36 pounds. TW customer service send me another string which was great. Overall playability is fine, good power, decent control, nice spin with the thinner 17G, however it did start moving a lot, but likely due to the lower tension and not the string. I would prefer the 16G with this racquet since the racquet has such an open string pattern at 16x18, but for denser patterns like 16x20 or 18x20, 17G is the way to go.

Awesome spin, great controlI really like the Hyper-G, is one of my favorites strings... Awesome spin, great control and keep tension well... The 1.20 I like a lot to use in control frames, because it helps with pop and extra power... Recommend!

17 gauge is way better than the 16 gaugeSet up: 2023 Babolat Pure Aero, 100 square inches. A little lead at 3 and 9 o'clock. 17 gauge strung at 54 pounds from Tennis Warehouse. My previous set up was a 2016 Pure Aero 100 square inches. A little lead at 3 and 9 o'clock. 16 gauge Hyper-G strung at 54 pounds for a few years. Everything felt great. I love the response and feel I get with the 17 gauge compared to the 16 gauge. It felt like my usual hitting partner had no reply back. Will test out the soft version next and Kirschbaum Pro Line 2, which I used to use before Hyper-G.

An outstanding co-poly.I use the 17 gauge strung at 54lbs in a full bed. I enjoy the way the ball comes off these strings with spin, power and control. The plushness of these strings reduces vibration back into my arm.

Great soft poly stringHyper-G 17 gauge has been my go-to string for the past two years. I would recommend this if you love the feel of poly. I do love feel of the 16 gauge, but this one is definitely feeling crisper and has lesser impact to the arm and shoulder. Obviously this thinner gauge is not as durable but it is for those who are looking for softer feel. This string will not last, but this is more budget friendly than some other ones. I do wish they would have more color options other than the green.

Durable String With Massive Spin PotentialSwitched from NRG2 17g to Solinco Hyper-G 17g in my new Phantom 93Ps. Solid, responsive, long-lasting string that enhance topspin on groundies! So far, no arm/elbow problems. Highly recommend this string.

Great stringsI played with other strings that caused elbow problems. Attempted to use non-poly strings, but they would break in two weeks from top spin. Switched to these strings: no arm pain, strings are durable and nice feel on contact.
