Overview
Head Lynx is a medium firm co-poly that delivers remarkable precision on full swings. This string is ideal for players with long, fast strokes. With its lively snapback, Lynx should help topspin players hit a heavy spin loaded ball that explodes off the court. Built with additives to increase elasticity and feel, Lynx also performs well on slower strokes where it possesses above average touch for a firm monofilament. Recommended to intermediate and advanced players.

Very good polyester stringI have been experimenting with mixing polys for a long time now, and recently decided to use Solinco Hyper-G Soft 17 gauge/18 gauge on mains and Head Lynx 17 Blue or Yellow on the crosses. Due to Head Lynx being a smooth poly, the end result was great. The smooth Head Lynx allows Solinco to move and snap better, then if I were to use full bed of texture polys. Another advantage I feel is that Head Lynx makes entire string bed with better control, since I feel that Hyper-G Soft sometimes has lots of power/pop. I get excellent pocketing from this combo. Also, Yellow Lynx seems softer that the Blue string.
Nice StringReally nice round poly to put in the mains with a nylon cross.

Decent stringI tend to try a variety of strings at times. I use Head Lynx 1.25mm as my base string. Black only. The colored ones play different. In the summer the pocket thins quickly. But for indoors it's great and reliable for tension and spin (summer time I hybrid to a spin on the mains because of the “looseness” in the pocket).

Comments: The yellow version of this string is by far the best polyester string I have played with. I recommended using this string in a full bed because it has perfect amount of power, great spin, and good feel and control. The only poly I would recommend a full bed of in a players racquet.

Comments: Great string! The ball seems to sit on the string longer than Luxilon strings I've used -- kinda pockets the ball. I got these strings based on demo of Prestige Pro Touch at 54 lbs. Kept at 54 lbs after buying Prestige Pro Touch from TW. I'm using the black strings and have not noticed the tension loss others have mentioned. Maybe temperature related for others. Spin and control is good but the touch/feel is fantastic! Power is fine as well. Soft on arm/shoulder -- I suggest giving it a try!

Comments: Strung these at 54 lbs and had a similar result. For a few days had great control and I could swing freely. Seemed to lose tension quickly (I had the black) but I also noticed significant arm and shoulder pain after 2 weeks. Loved them for a few days but going back to my Ashway Monogut Pro 17g at 52 lbs. Almost as much control with no arm issues.

Comments: I tested this string and must say initial result is great stand out feature is the control. The string lets you swing free somehow, so it feels powerful since this free swinging ups your swing speed and therefore adds power. But it is the control really which creates this. So a great great string for different reasons.

Comments: I strung my Babolat Pure Aero with Head Lynx 17g string at 52 pounds. I love the power and spin levels. However, control is a little lower, especially with my two handed backhand. This may be due to the fact that I was using Solinco Tourbite before, which has much less power and more control. Next time around, I will string with 54 pounds, which should work fine.

Comments: Got these as a prize from a tournament and strung them in my Volkl Scorcher Tour at 52 lbs. They are amazing strings and did everything I wanted them to do! Great spin, good control with a medium firm feel. Lots of action on my serves! However, they lost their edge after about 3 days of hard play. I will keep looking for the best string for me.
