This shaped co-poly is one of the most spin friendly strings available
Introducing the black version of Weiss Cannon's Ultra Cable! This square shaped co-poly comes with ultra sharp edges, giving it tremendous bite. As one of the most spin friendly strings available, this co-poly gives experienced players the ability to hit heavy spin-loaded balls that drop hard and explode off the court. It also comes with above average comfort for poly-based monofilament. Did we mention the spin?

the best!I've tried a variety of string, including the yellow WC Ultra Cable - this tops it for sure. I am a 4.5 baseline player and use this string in a hybrid in the mains, with a smooth poly in the crosses (Golden Set Power Cord). My game is aggressive spin and this just nails it in every way. Strings I've used before (all in a hybrid): Luxilon ALU Power, Luxilon ALU Power Rough, Head Lynx Tour, Head Sonic Edge Pro, Yonex PolyTour Strike, RPM Blast, Tourna Big Hitter Silver 7 Tour, etc. - this string clears them all in terms of comfort, spin and bite. I have not tried Hyper-G, so would not be able to compare, but I heard it's close. The black version of this string is the best - the yellow is a tad bit softer and I feel a half deviation lower in bite, but both are good, with this one being my preference. Definitely recommend if you take huge cuts at the ball and seek the control to paint the lines.
UC BLACKTHIS IS THE SPINNIEST SHARPEST EDGE POLY I HAVE EVER USED. AND IVE USED THEM ALL. ALSO THE SNAPBACK IS OFF THE CHARTS. IT SLIDES BACK ON ITSELF LIKE NO OTHER. CONS: ITS STIFF. SO IF YOU HAVE ARM PAIN ...
Great productJust wanted to share an honorable string mention. For context I usually use sharp polyesters in a full bed. My only gripe for the most part is that if I were a perfectionist I would have to restring every three outings as my strings after three sessions have a noticeable change. They don't have the same snap back. My go-to strings that have this issue are just about all of them. Cyclone, Hyper-G, Confidential, you name it. But because I don't have arm issues I use the strings way longer than that knowing they have declined but are still playable. But my latest string job with Weiss Cannon Ultra Cable Black in a 1.23 gauge has not bagged out AT ALL after three sessions. It has completely held its new characteristics of being a super smooth string over string and same snap back as new. Definitely a must try for all of you that like to use a full bed of sharp polys.
