“Like the name implies, this soft six-sided string will soften up any stiff frame you’re a fan of. Use it to create more workable hybrids and plush full beds regardless of the racquet.” - Oak, TW Playtester

MSV Focus Hex Soft is a comfortably firm monofilament with exceptional playability and feel for a control string. The response is slightly softer than the original Focus Hex, with a little more power and comfort off-center. The sharp edges deliver exceptional bite. Best suited to big hitters in search of heavy spin and control along with above average comfort.

Focus Hex-SoftFocus Hex Soft has softened up every stiff racquet we've tried it in. It's a string that prioritizes comfort without sacrificing any performance for the masses. Its ability to generate spin is top-notch, and it has a sleek shaped profile for excellent grip on the ball during dwell time. Players working with denser string patterns should check this one out.

Been playing it for yearsI’ve tried a lot of the polys out there and I keep coming back to the MSV CoFocus Hex. I’ve been using it for years and find that it’s durable, has good power, maintains tension well, and is good enough for this 4.5 player. I usually stick to the 16L and 17 gauges in black. I recommended this string to my playing buddies and now they like it too. Just out of curiosity I try other newer polys and in my opinion this string is still an outstanding choice as well as a value. I keep a reel around and it costs me about five bucks per string job. I don’t notice much of a difference between the original and soft versions though. Either one is great.
