Overview

Diadem Solstice Power is a comfortably firm co-poly with a six-pointed star shape. The result is a string that combines a low-friction surface with maximum ball bite. In other words, this string was built for spin - massive spin. Intermediate and advanced players looking for a comfortable co-poly with pinpoint control have come to the right place.

Best of All4.5 male player, switched from Solinco Heaven soft copoly to this one about a year ago. Offers more spin, power, durability and friendlier to your arm. Dunlop FX 500 Pro at 46 pounds or Head Boom Pro at 44-45

Spin, power, longevityI've been using Diadem Solstice Power 16 gauge for years. Wouldn't recommend another string more. Incredible bite on the ball, effortless topspin and slice, not only on ground strokes, but on serves as well. I used to play around 15 hours a week not including competitive play, and it would last me around two to two and a half months. The most surprising part of the strings is the feel, especially when I'm at the net. 10/10 string.

Spin and ControlStrung this in a 2021 VCore 100+ with added weight. The 16g works great for providing control, and the spin potential is ridiculous. Feels softer than Hyper G, and only a tad firmer than Poly Tour Pro. The 16 gauge plays more consistent than the 16L for me.

Comments: Bought this along with two other strings to try. Far and away my favorite. After more than six hours of play it still hasn't moved and has only the faintest drop in tension. Incredible spin and much softer feel than I anticipated.

Comments: Tried this string because of the good price on TW and 6 sided pattern which I never saw before. love it. I usually can't tell the difference between 5, 7, 8 sided strings but this one was a very soft poly but held tension well. Love the color and can't wait trying hybrids with it as well.

Comments: I bought this string on a recommendation from my coach. I needed a softer string because my arm had been hurting me. For a poly I can't believe how comfortable it is. The feel and touch on my drop shots and volleys is like a multi. On my serve, I can kick or slice it easily with the sharpness of the string. The extra bite it gets compared to other round polys I've used is amazing. I feel like I have total control on my shots. And the spin is unreal! Love this string!

Comments: I'm a 4.0 player -- singles and doubles, and play with a Pro Staff 95S (2014), strung at 50 lbs, two-piece. I use Technifibre Black Code 4s 16 (50-52 lbs), before that Double AR Diablo 16 1.31 (52-54 lbs). There are three things I hate about this string - 1) it doesn't grip the ball well and often I can't get the ball to go over the net. 2) For volleys, my racquet sounds like a board, no touch or feeling. 3) Feels thicker than other strings, more like 15L than a 16. The string doesn't notch too much (comparable to the Black Code 4s and keeps its tension possibly better than the 4s). Feels a bit like Tour Bite Soft. Bought it on sale, like the other commenters from March, 2016, but I cannot really recommend this string.

Comments: I am undefeated in league play since I switched to this string. Feel like I can't miss from the baseline. It is such a great balance of spin, power and control. Still going strong after 8 hours of play (about 8 sets).

Comments: A poly that holds tension, spin and comfort throughout without much loss on all factors! I strung two of my Prince Graphite Long Body racquets with this after testing the 17 gauge, which gave consistent performance till it broke in about a month of playing 3-4 days a week. The spin in this made my Solinco Tour Bite in my other racquet look flat. What I really enjoy is the maintenance of tension and playability for over two months on a poly. I have tried almost all popular polys and multis out there. This string gives the durability of a poly while providing the comfort close to multis. I have also tried a few textured polys which start of great but lose the texture in hitting zone. This one is able to retain the texture much better thus providing a consistent spin. Needless to say, I am much more confident with my serves, especially second serve. Don't expect much power, that is probably not the purpose of this string. I would suggest it for control seeking players who want level of comfort similar to multis. I play at around the 3.5 level.

Comments: Game changer -- this string is a game changer. Spin, comfort, and power -- the best poly on the market. I recommend Solstice Power to all my juniors. It is so comfortable and soft, there is no real need to hybrid, you can just rip away and get ridiculous spin. The 16 gauge has great durability, I don't think I would be able to break the 15L.

Comments: Where do I begin? I first started hitting with Diadem Solstice Power 16 in my Blade 98 16x19. I immediately felt the increase in spin that everyone claims it gets. I was very impressed with the comfort as my arm felt nothing after an almost two hour hitting session. I think I found my new go-to string. Did I mention how cool it looks in my Blade?!
