Overview
Introducing Diadem Solstice Black! This shaped co-poly plays a tad firmer than Diadem's Solstice Power but still manages to offer impressive comfort for a poly-based monofilament. Defined by its a unique star shape, sharp edges and a low-friction surface, Solstice Black has outstanding bite and vicious snapback. The result is massive spin-potential. Intermediate and advanced players who want a durable and spin-friendly co-poly that drops the ball on a dime should give this one a serious look. The comfortable feel is a nice bonus.

co-poly- great!I have been playing for 50 years with all types of string. I have tried normal poly strings from the beginning with terrible results to my arm. I tried the Solstice and it feels great with no arm problems. And the extra spin provided by these strings has been much better than I hoped for. I have replaced all my strings in all four of my racquets with these strings. They are great!

Comments: I am a topspin baseline player who is always looking for new strings with high spin potential. This string puts a good grip on the ball and helps give you a lot of topspin and slice. For a co-poly this string has good tension maintenance, feel, power and comfort. The TW University Lab Review has it listed with a 162 stiffness rating shows that it's a comfortable co-poly. Solstice Black has the best tension maintenance for co-polys I've used the past several years that have stiffness ratings under 180.

Comments: This string definitely provides control and grips the ball well. Nice power as well. By the tenth hour of use I had to cut it out, my arm was a little tender. For me that is about the average life of polyester I play with. I might try a thinner gauge next time to open up the stringbed.
