Babolat combines arm-friendly comfort with impressive control and durability

With this unique multifilament, Babolat delivers a seductive combination of comfort and control. The comfort comes from the core, which is packed with flexible polyamide (nylon) filaments. The control comes from the outer wrap, which features glass beads to create a stiffer, more durable string. Babolat also finishes the surface with a silicon coating to enhance snapback and further improve durability. Combined, these features result in an impressive multifilament, one that not only delivers arm-friendly comfort but also allows you to swing bigger when loading the ball with pace and spin.

Good Multi for growing Poly/Multi constructJust bought because it's new and on sale. Last week, I played six hours with Xalt. Strung in my Dunlop FX500 Tour at 52lbs. I'm a 4.0 full bed multifilament user with a western forehand, one-handed backhand, and spin serves. It took 90 minutes to break in the strings. Its crisper than other multi's. I really liked the feel. These strings will grow on you. This string is great for both topspin and slice. It surprised me, it was pretty good on my serves too, especially the slice. It was good for my serve and volleying in doubles. Return of serves were good, if you have short block back swings. Regarding the forehand, I really had to focus on technique and good tempo. Didn’t really like the shape of the ball flight. Although, a few times I had some good cuts on the forehand. Sometimes I liked the forehand and sometimes not. It’s true, it's not the best for heavy topspin strokes especially on forehands. For a crisper string with poly/multi construction, no arm pain. I can see this string as a good hybrid on the crosses. I think this would be a good string for flat ball hitters. It’s a little pricey.
