Putting the Ubersonic 5 to the Test
The crew at Tennis Warehouse, along with a group of top tennis influencers, put the all-new adidas Ubersonic 5 to the test. The group underwent a series of speed-focused drills to assess the performance of this 5th generation model. We were eager to see if it could deliver the speed and performance we all crave.
What the Team Thought
"Loved the level of traction, it was perfect for sliding" - Beckett Chung, TennCom
"Pretty impressed so far with the Ubersonic 5. It's a lot more rigid and support oriented. I like that I feel really locked in in the heel. 2 thumbs up for me so far." - Chris, TW Playtester
"Overall, I felt like it was a really speedy shoe. I felt low to the ground and I felt like the shoe was really responsive because of the snug fit." - Will Boucek, Tennis Tribe
"I feel like this new Ubersonic is really an explosive shoe, you can really slide with confidence and get into the shot. So I felt really stable and quite solid. But they're still lighter than the previous generation" - Jonas Eriksson, Tennis Nerd
